Honestly, the twist was really obvious but they did it REALLY well! The way they hanged on shots where Joe was *just barely* out of frame and the way nobody other than Butcher interacts with him, plus with him seeing Becca introducing the idea that he's alredy hallucinating. I also love that Joe is basically comic Butcher egging on show Butcher to just fully devolve into him. That's a nice touch I wasn't expecting.

I feel like most people that saw this coming paid much more attention to Kessler's existence in this show than you and I did. His relationship with Butcher was always just kind of a background thing for me that I never really put much thought into.

Butcher discovered he was in a Venom situation. But a Venom created by himself and who would kill him if he doesn't follow. The tumor arc instantly got better.

I kinda was getting a little suspicious, but at the start of the episode there was a cut where Joe was interrogating him and it cut immediately to Billy standing in the exact same spot not even a second later. And the boys people are too talented to miss a detail like a character teleporting switching places with the other actor instantly. I knew it was an intentional move that connected them as the same person

Don't feel bad. If you're a casual watcher or someone who hadn't encountered this trope before (I fit into both of these lol) then it's understandable that you probably either missed or disregarded the clues that hinted at this reveal. The people in the video likely engage in discussions/theories regarding the show outside of just watching it which is why they were able to figure out what was happening prior to the reveal.

@@SorchaSublime so if you haven’t watched the animated show and want to avoid them, spoilers for that ahead. In diabolical, the animated boys universe show, there is a character who is shown to have aggressive cancer. As the woman lays on her death bed in her final hour or so, her husband in a desperate attempt to save her, injects her with compound V. The V doesn’t cause any change to her, instead attaching to the cancer cells and causing them to become their own separate being. It leaves her body flees to the forest where it begins consuming anything it can, before being killed by the military. I am assuming that’s what’s being set up here. The cancer is still within Butcher, and is communicating with him using hallucinations based in old memories. Becca represents the best of him, and Kessler, the friend he had to leave behind, the worst of him. Regardless, excited to see what the finale brings.

Everyone who complains about predictability, pls try and come up with your own unique ideas then google your idea. There is rarely uniqueness in media these days because EVERYTHING has been done, even what we consider unique today is just a bunch of ideas that have already been played out but in a new sequence or form. Predictability DOES NOT equal bad at all, creativity and a little bit of inspiration from previous media is literally 90% of what comes out today in every form of media. Pls stop being so pretentious, come down from your high horse, and learn to enjoy things for what they are like the rest of us

Nah the complaints about predictability are valid, but i think what people miss is that predictability isnt inherently a flaw when executed well. This isnt a plot twist, and anybody who thinks it is is slow; this is a reveal to BUTCHER, not the audience
