I don't get the comment on 90s Spider-Man copying Batman TAS. The two had very little in common aside from sharing some voice cast members and at that point it's like saying Shutter Island copied Titanic because both star DiCaprio. Spider-Man TAS was mostly comprised of straight adaptations of comic stories in a serialized format with goofy censorship while Batman TAS had a very different tone and was mostly one-and-done original stories with a few comic story adaptations sprinkled throughout.

Kenny would be the first to find out how to T-bag the enemies. 😂😂

I couldn't stop laughing for like 5 mins as soon as the sprite was revealed. Spider-Man looks so stupid in this 🤣 .

This was actually one of the better older Spider-Man games we had back then. I enjoyed it and it had fun gameplay mechanics once you understood the game.

From the 16bit era, my favorite spiderman game is "Spider-Man vs. The Kingpin" from Sega Genesis.

Loved that game. The J Jonah Jameson "boss fight" was hilarious!

Separation Anxiety was a pretty good Spiderman/Venom beat-em-up on the SNES

is this the one where Venom makes a vacuum cleaner noise when you hit him? (on Genesis anyway...)

The biggest problem of the 90's cartoon was that it clearly had its budget cut in half. Up to like half of the second season everything looks fine, but then obvious shortcuts like recycling animation and literally replaying a scene backwards start happening and things get overall more stiff. Nowadays it lives the "not allowed to punch anyone" meme, but it had some good stories. And I wouldn't really say it tried to be Batman TAS. Had some brooding here and there, but it's more about being a clorful superhero cartoon, and setting up sort of animated MCU that never quite took off.

That is what happens when you cheap out your animation to some Canadian studio. 😆

Play Super Smash TV, the closest game to arcade perfect on Snes. See ya.
