In this video I unboxed the new MagicYoyo Y01 Node which was provided by YoyoBestBuy.
This yoyo is one that can be classified as a budget yoyo. That said my first impressions of this yoyo is very good. Do not let the low price fool you, this is a very capable yoyo that can easily be used for advanced yoyo trick combos and even competition.

I really enjoy my Y01 Node. It is my favorite budget yoyo and easily tops most of the 50-75 range yoyos I have tried.

Nice review as always! I got one of that, as well as april. At first, I was quite surprised the y01 weighs at 68g. Pretty heavy, yet pretty good for lots of tricks.

This is my everyday yoyo. I put a Buddha Ceramic Whipple bearing in it and it's even better now. Nice vid. You got a good channel going. *The glossy finish takes some getting used to, but it can fingerspin too. Thumb grinds and talon grinds are decent, but it certainly feels weird sometimes.

kroodle maybe it is; maybe it isn't. I did put a Buddha Ceramic Whipple bearing in mine, and it's awesome. I use red permatex silicone to make my response. I actually want to try Buddha pads though.

They are both “butterfly” or “V” shaped. But the angles are different. The Node Y01 tapers off to a flatter edge towards the rims while the sleipnir is a little sharper. The weight and diameter are different. Also the Sleipnir has a flat center cup while the Y01 has a small knob. The finish is also different and of course the price. Given the sophistication in CAD and CNC manufacturing you can really copy exact specs of Yoyos these days. But there are enough differences here that I am not convinced it is a copy.

If you pop out a double GT out the wrong side then you can land it on the string coming straight off your nth finger That will make a normal gt

When you make your throw scores, do you consider it’s price when you grade each category? It feels odd that every yoyo scores above a 4. Also, yo-yos like the gamma crash and POM Draupnir score higher than the actual draupnir, is it because you really believe they’re superior?

The string itself is not glowing. He used a UV-Active String + UV LED. That's why everything in the background is glowing as well if you check it.
