💬Plot summary:
When Meng Hui was a child, she was accidentally injured by Shen Yi, leaving a scar on her face and causing her a delusional disorder. Shen Yi escaped responsibility because of his young age, but both of them grew up with their own respective "scars."
One day, they came across each other again when Meng Hui, now a makeup artist, meets Shen Yi whom she thought was a junior staff of the cosmetics company LS, but in reality, he is the president of the company. Unexpectedly provoked by something, Meng Hui suddenly declares herself as the president's girlfriend due to the activation of her delusional disorder. Don't you know about the influence of beauty in china and South Korea,for them beauty is everything also she has a scar on her cheek which is really large so according to their culture it makes her look ugly,also if you've watched the drama the scar wasn't a big problem for her as she used to cover it up,the thing is that she had PTSD and personality disorder in which she was constantly reminded of the tragic accident in her childhood, i also have eilepsy and PTSD (the PTSD is in control right now) due to the trauma i faced in my childhood i get constant flashbacks and it gets hard to control them, thus i can say that she is not overreacting (not being rude)

I think it’s because it reminds most people f the situation they were in to get those scars and they don’t want to relieve those feelings again. I can see why they would hide it. That's more of a mentality thing society planted. I'm actually sorry to bring this up to clear my point, but there are cases where love marriages were canceled when their 'lover' suffered an acid attack.
