Whats shaking homies so today I decided that I wanted to get into spin tops so today I am going to take a look at the Elec-Trick Bearing Spin Top from YoYoFactory. This reminds me of a smaller version of "Tuj Lub" (pronounced: thoo-loo) which is spin top game created by asians. My dad and his friends use to play it all the time. You use a rope which is attached to a pole/stick and wrap the rope around these big tops and then do a weird whip to accelerate the top and then watch it spin. Its pretty cool.

I never really gotten into yoyoing but I play top every day :) Look up for a Spintastic Quicksilver Hybrid in fixed tip ( if you want to learn to regen / get into regenerative play ) or a Strummol8 Guilla for a very very good bearing top. both are avail at YYE or yoyosam :)

Can anyone tell me the length at which the string should be for this top (I've lost the original)? I've had it laying around for awhile and never got a hang of the throw and want to give it another go. Love your content Dylan! You should make a beginners tutorial for spin tops there's not really any good ones on KZfaq.

you should review strummol8 spin tops from Italy. They are $100 on yoyosam.com and require bearing maintenance. They are one of the greatest spintops out there.

Always point the tip to the hand you throw with then you always wind the sting away from you not towards yourself

So funny. Someone with so much talent almost wrap the string wrong three times. At least you didn’t unwind the string thinking they give you three in each top. Lol
