Newmarket is a town in Central York Region. The main transit terminal is located near the intersection of Yonge St and Davis Dr, across from Upper Canada Mall. YRT's electric buses are found on a variety of different routes in Newmarket. In addition to conventional bus service, Viva Rapid Transit is also found here, operating along new Rapidway routes. GO Transit also runs rail and express bus service through Newmarket.

Note that all the electric buses have a prefix "e" recently added before the unit number.
