The YT Jeffsy is the best trail bike out there in my opinion, al or carbon. The short chainstay madness tainted this bike as well, a bit, but otherwise just perfection.

Those little SRAM doohickies are handy when installing brakes. But with a scrap of hydraulic hose and a bit of plastic film (I worked in a warehouse, so those little white strips that you peal off of adhesive strips were everywhere.) you can also make an excellent internal cable routing tool. You just put the silver threaded biting one end with the silver dome piece and a bit of plastic through the hole. Run that into the frame towards the exit and use a hook made out of a spoke to grab the plastic and guide the hose out. Then use one of those little red bits to attach your other hose or housing to pull it through.

Awesome trail bike when you’re mostly going down but curious how you guys get back up those trails? On the fence between Izzo and Jeffsey see but where I ride mostly there’s quite a bit of uphill and tech climbs which seems more suitable for an Izzo.

I like the confidence of the beefier fork on the enduro rig but the lighter fork is nice on the play bike

It’s more about geo with me, especially with how conservative the geo of this bike is compared to other 140-150 travel trail bikes such as the spectral, privateer 141, huegene, etc.

I would have thought the Jeffsy frame would have been hangerless by now. You’ve got the latest SRAM brakes, but can’t use the new transmission. That would have made it even more of a dream build. Can’t complain with what you’ve got though.

In my opinion, there is no need for a AXS crankset, even if it was like a throttle

the axs crankset works in tandem with the flight attendant shock and fork to help determine the angle of the bike (ie wether its pointed uphill or downhill) but I understand what you mean.
