Moving straight on with the zero budget restoration vw caddy, we are going to focus on getting it lowered, front springs and a rear axle flip. I don’t have any bits for the axle flip so how did I get on. Let’s find out..

Love this low budget build series. Great tips as always 👍 being the sole trader you have come up with the best way to do a job which doesn't cost you more time or money so fair play to you. This also means you're customers are more likely to get their car back on time. 👍 great to see the Impact getting some action. You're a good guy spending the cash on Andy's motor.

Hey Phillip I have broke many things in the earlier years and I’ve never just added that to a customers bill I literally take it on the chin and pay for it, you then work out a way of not breaking things as your right the customer get there car back on time. Love seeing a caddy getting pimped out, your doing a great job. I never need to take the wipers off. If you close the bonnet and before taking the keys out hit the wiper stalk it will put the wipers in a kind of service mode in the upright position which put the mech out of the way of the strut bolts.

Nathan really enjoying the budget series. I forgot how you lowered your own Caddy. I wouldn’t be allowed to do it that way here in Germany. When I lowered my Caddy, I had to use an approved kit mine is a H&R and then I must take the Caddy to the TÜV(MOT). Who check that it is fitted properly and entered it in the logbook. Everything is so regimented here compared to the UK. I nearly fell foul to this as I ordered a sport air filter and didn’t read the small print until it arrived “only for show and racing not for street use”. They have to be enclosed similar to the original and that makes the sport filters 5x as expensive. That’s why I’m doing my Caddy with a limited budget. I could get the lowering kit because it cost less than new springs after it broke from the impact of a lorry carcass hitting my Caddy.

Hey Ragnar ah mate I know you like a notification I don’t know why they don’t always come though maybe I need to get my video up a day earlier for KZfaq to send out the bell 🛎️ for the Friday video 🤷. Caddy meet video will be up Monday or Tuesday normal time 👍🙏
