For those of you who like to know real-world calculations to anime feats, when Yusei got into the pipeline to begin the run to the hatch, he had two minutes to reach it before it closed and 8 miles to cover in said two minutes. This means that Yusei had to travel at an average of 240 miles per hour to reach the hatch in time.

Also he had no speed counters which are shown that the more speed counters you have the faster your duel runners max speed is in a duel , so that’s not even close to his top speed Yes Ik he got speed counters late into the duel but for a good amount of the time he had 0 speed counters from the effect of trudges monster

Quick math on those numbers: in order to clear 8 miles (12.875 km) of pipe in just two minutes, Yusei's duel runner would have to be moving at about 386.25 km/h. That's equal or slightly higher to the top speed of the current fastest (civilian) motorcycles in the world-just over one kilometre every ten seconds. Imagine riding past the LONG side of a city block (274m) in less time than it takes you to take a single deep breath. That is insanely fast. So, seriously Yusei, button your jacket.

@@-AirKat-the reason is because the originals looked to much like they were advertising. They had to change it. It was to expensive to change all Japanese to English as well so this is easier.

8:40 is when the 3 minute mark began for when the maintenance patch opened, 22:00 is when he got through the pipeline (in slightly over 3 minutes). So no, it's more like 3 minutes became 13 minutes 20 seconds.

I like how the police can make your runner to turn off, but it is risky since the opposite happens if he loses, but if the fugitive runner is faster, it is a good choice...

How important is Rally? She? doesn't really do anything other than give Yusei his Turbo Buster card and help Yusei test out his Duel Runner. Same with Yusei's other pals, they don't really do much, all four of them could've just been replaced by Crow and nothing would change.

@@firerhino8592 and yes they did help out when Yusei almost died from dueling Kalin by sacrificing their clothes and cards to save Yusei's Duel Runner from being stolen, but that could've also been solved with Crow just tying Yusei's Runner to his Runner and having Rally be on The Runner.

i have a soft spot for 5ds....maybe its because thats when i started the physical card game. my first experience with the game was on DS with Nightmare Troubadour. i had seen other kids playing but thought its mechanics and art were kinda silly compared to MTG. but after playing some DS games i knew somehow Yugioh would become a permanent part of my life.

@Daniel Oleszek So am I. From what I've seen of the anime subs, the stories are actually more impactful. I think it had something to do with 4Kids TV because they were more of a friendly-family network. I'm like "f*** that! I want to see more Yu-gi-oh! episodes, don't hold my hand with the mild action!" GX was actually a little more deep than 5D's, but I would've loved to see both dubbed if 4Kids weren't so careful with the content.

And him and Miho both died (offscreen) during GX Season 4, as there's a list of names of different duelists that were getting poofed out of existence that was shown for a few seconds and their names were both on it, and both disappeared. The reason he's back here is because by beating the big bad, Jaden managed to poof literally every living human soul on earth outside of himself back to life.

Yes he does, using turbo booster during a few duels is a memento of his friends and at the final battle, when he summons Quasar, his friends are there with everyone he has met.

Technology "Junk Synchron" wasn't fully written down at that point. This was a purpose to teach the duelists how to do Turbo Duel more than just a monster and junks.

I heard several things about jack using seto kaiba's clothes, and chazz, and all in all stuff we know, well that was literally in a different dimension, the fusion dimension to be exact, we are in the synchro dimension now. You can watch arcV if you are interested.

Nope 5ds and the synchro dimension are completely different universes. That's why you never hear crow or jack talk about the crimson dragon and them using completely different extra deck cards. Not to mention they aren't signers
