Erica's a great voice actress, but Megan Hollingshead will always be Mai Valentine to me. Tristan sounds...slightly out of character. I don't remember him sounding so wimpy. Love Greg though :)

They should totally animate this, that i'd like to see ;) Also, just a shot out of the dark but i kinda really wanna see some animated bloopers and outtakes of the yugioh franchise, especially 5DS (cuz its my fav) or the BBT movie, like they did with Lion King 3D, omg it would be so cool xD

Matthew Charles is pretty much done with Yugioh. Greg Abbey said that 4kids had such a hard time bringing him back for Bonds Beyond Time so he doesn't expect Matt Charles to do anything associated with Yugioh

i think that the original voice actress left 4kids(dont know if she got fired or not) you cant expect the new actress to have an identical voice.. they are similar in some ways though

Lori Wolfcat I didn't like her either. Yeah she had this bad attitude which fit mais take over from dartz but I would have like to have seen the original voice actor for mai with a bad attitude. Though the new mai has grown on me.

Axel Mairtons The original voice of Mai (Megan Hollingshead) left New York for LA and 4K!DS exclusively used NYC actors, so once she left NYC she had to be replaced, the only LA voice actors 4K!DS used were one’s that frequently commuted to New York such as Sam Riegel and Michael Sinterniklaas and Sam’s commuting often got him recast on Yu Gi Oh several times.

JH Entertainment That’s kinda dumb to be replaced. Especially since voice acting doesn’t need to be recorded in the same place. Like Chicken Run. Maybe it’s different for shows, but that’s still dumb.

He's gotten a bit lazy over the years. He really didn't bother with voiceing Yusei in Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's. Sad, there was a lot of potential, but they mucked up with 5D's. There were some good moments, but there were too many lazy lines, moronic puns along with other changes that didn't add anything to the story and only took away from a great story. The original Japanese version was great, but the english version cut out many important episodes.
