And it isn't even necessarily just being stupid because not everyone is going to build or play the deck the same or just wants to net deck. For example, I saw a video with someone playing Trickstar, thought it looked fun, and then went and bought all the cards in the archetype that I didn't already have at the time. Whether or not other people use them in the deck doesn't matter because that's not my first step in building a deck. My first step is pulling together all of the cards, building it 100% pure as much as possible, and doing some play testing. Then, once I understand it well enough, I will make changes based on what the archetype does and what I want the deck to do. After that comes a second round of testing and refining. Finally, once I feel the deck is working as well as I can get it I will go looking at other people's deck lists and breakdowns and possibly make modifications and do more testing. Building the deck is part of the fun of using the deck so it shouldn't matter to you what someone else used in it.

I mean Stardust dragon was Yusei's boss monster and it was wind. And all his subsequent Stardust dragon variants are not dark. Even Yuma's utopia is light monster I believe. Also while you are most likely correct that firewall was left for so long to promote the link mechanic, there really is a chance that the anime did have part in letting it live so long since the anime was such a huge part of promoting the game. It very well could be that it took them so long because they were coming up with making code talkers Yusaku's main strategy instead of firewall

The only reason he was relying on junk warrior as boss monster was because he literally couldn't summon stardust dragon since it was stolen from him. Like its part of the plot that he left satellite because he wants to retrieve the stolen Stardust dragon from Jack

Well I think that puts Kiryu out of place. Having two out of four members of Team Satisfaction be dark signers would be a bit odd if you ask me.

Also if we want Crow to be connected to Luna and Leo maybe we could say they used to be at Crows orphanage before they got adopted by their obvious Neglectful parents. Seriously where are their parents? Than also in season 2 we would have team 5Ds be Yusei, Jack, and Akiza.

@@firerhino8592 Any change to crow's story would happen after his introduction. So it doesn't make sense that they changed his backstory of not being a part of yusei's past when they showed their past 3 episodes after his debut. Same goes for ruka and rua's backstory.

Crow's character was diminished past the signer arc and even then it seemed like bullshit he got a birthmark over Rua. The thing that made blackwings popular is that somehow KoA didn't rarity bump them, though granted that only started to happen after the 5ds era ended.

That Crow turned out to be the missing signer is bullshit indeed but Blackwings were introduced much earlier both on-screen and in real life. By the way, back then it was Upper Deck (who, for what it's worth, seem to have produced better card localisations than Konami). The scene I'm referring to is the first one with Crow in the whole series (if I recall correctly). Crow is steals decks from the Security Guards, is almost caught in the act, and makes a wild escape on his duel runner proving himself a strong duelist. His winning play is the classic combo of Sirocco, Gale, and Bora.

None of the answers that anyone has come up with actually makes any sense. That set specifically continues to be reprinted in Korean. South Korea has a copyright deal with North America and even uses the censored North American art. This means that even if the trademark for an airline would somehow affect a trademark for a trading card (it wouldn't, that's not how trademarks work) that they wouldn't be printing it in SK either. And the same applies to any copyright agreement with the artist. If there's a problem printing it everywhere else, then there should be a problem with printing it in SK as well. That means you would need to get very specific for any IP related issue to be the problem because what you actually need is a Japanese company for some reason having an agreement with an artist that only allows them to ever print a main character's card in South Korea after the first run. Anything else means that they should be able to at least reprint the original set just like they're doing in SK. I know Konami makes a lot of stupid decisions but do you think that's what they did? Because I don't

​​@@RunicSigilsno one said anything about the airline. It's an issue of the artwork being a Kazuki Takahashi original. All cards with that distinction also only have 1 printing and also are missing from the video games and subsequent support cards

​​@@alicepbg2042because Takahashi didn't make the real OCG/TCG artwork of those cards, simple as that. We KNOW, actual FACT there, that Holactie, Alternative Ultimate Dragon, Magician Gal and the Hachiko dog card cannot be reprinted because their artwork is a Kazuki Takahashi original. And guess what, all those cards ALSO are missing from Master Duel, Duel Links and the artworks of any of the support cards of their respective archetypes.
