When you were expecting just an average high stakes duel between Yudias and Zwijo, but the writers threw a bunch of curve balls, up to and including giant spaceship duel disks and pilots as cards.

I think it makes sense that Yuga and Yuna would be really close; he wouldn't entrust the Sevens Road archetype to just anyone, so he must think very highly of her. Overall, I think Yuna has a LOT of respect for Yuga as a person, she just doesn't show it easily because she's a super tsundere unless Rovian is involved.

I have a feeling that when Aitsu (That Man) reveals his name, it's going to be The⭐Yuugaman instead of his real name. The Oudou family might have its own arc.

Who would have thought we would have a 3 part duel that’s awesome the duel is pretty good I liked Zwijos new monster it’s effect was insanely good. Also love Zwijos evil laugh poor yudias is in trouble

Well, I understand how he’s going to end the war peacefully. I know this I understand completely because I’ve seen Yuya Sakagi change Duel Academies minds So if a character already did that in Yu-Gi-Oh, and a peaceful way. You can totally understand why it would work for the valgerians

Goha yuna continues to be a really fun character right up until rovian shows up, then she regresses immensely Otherwise though a fantastic episode and continuing to use the sevens connections excellently, this yudias/zwijo dynamic is deffo something sevens was missing

If you don’t understand Dylan. How Utes would be able to pull it off. You go and watch Arc V again and you’ll see how it can be done. It’s totally understandable. Because we already had a character already that stop the war in a peaceful way.

Because as Yuto said, that just because people do bad things to you. Doesn’t mean you have to be brought back in because It doesn’t help because you’ll always be fighting no matter what because you’re giving them people what they want. It will never stop if you use force to fight back. I mean look at what Yuya did to Duel Academy he made them change their ways by not giving them the satisfaction in using violence for dueling

Too bad Yugioh arc-v's plot is a giant disgusting De-ex machina in disguise. non- of the main characters plot lines matter in Yugioh Arc-V since the true plot line never gets explained until Akaba Leo explains it so all that Dimension hopping was 100% pointless story wise since Akaba Leo had all of the keys to the whole story of Yugioh Arc-V but it was never explained until near the end of fusion Dimesion arc you know since Akaba Leo never makes an appearance to the main characters at all through out the pointless dimension hopping crap of Yugioh Arc-V. 2nd problem of Yugioh Arc-V all the legacy characters were handled 100% badly and achieved nothing. The whole point of a narrative is have the main villain confront the main characters in the middle of the story to explain why the main villain is doing this and not gate keep him at end of the story where he gets cucked making Akaba Leos War Goal 100% pointless, contradictory and contrived all at once. Yuto being 100% wise sage near the end of Yugioh Arc-V without any real back story on how or why He's like this is also Really rushed. The whole Zarc thing could of have been prevented if this happened in the middle of Yugioh Arc-V's story if Akaba Leo made a appearance to the main Characters of Yugioh Arc-V in the middle of the story line like the synchro-Arc yes all of this could be 100% be prevented plus the lancers did absolute crap they did not solve any thing about the main plot of Yugioh Arc-V. Yugioh Arc-V entire plot line is one big stupid Goose chase.

So will we be making picks for Dumamu VS Yuga, since it's also a duel that's occurring? I think Dumamu might have a chance of winning, but Zwijo is definitely losing against Yudias.

This episode kinda gives me even more the impression that Zwijo just plays the role of the villain. He seems to do everything just to test Yudias and not because he's evil for real. It's also kinda weird seeing him smirking and doing the typical villain laugh at the end of the ep when he looks so depressed/tired in the Opening shot. Could be another hint he's just acting or something will happen during or at the end of the duel with him. Yuga saving Manabu and Rovian was super obvious like come on, why would the writers want those specific two characters yeeted into space alone otherwise? And maybe unpopular opinion but Damamu vs Yuga was really not needed to happen at the same time like Zwijo vs Yudias since the latter is supposed to be the big main thing now. I'm also a bit eh at Yudias using everyone's ace cards because in Sevens, Yuga had a connection with each of the characters whose aces he used so it made sense - but here, Yudias uses cards from characters like Menjaburo or London next ep and it feels random to me. About Yuna's reaction towards Yuga: Since the moment she threw a tantrum because Yudias had Yuga's duel disk, I had the feeling that Yuga must be someone special to her. She's the Goha Company prez and yet, she listens to Yuga when he told her to give Yudias the duel disk back. It would be really good if Go Rush would care how their actual connection is since Yuna usually is just all about Rovian.

Duel Academy has probably never bothered them again, Declain is like Zwijo in a way he created the Lancers to fight back Only difference is Zwijo uses duel monsters to fight back, I don’t see how Zwijo has any common sense at all, Mind you Aliens probably think differently than humans do,

I have a theory Goha Yuna has feelings for That Guy (Yuga). If you watch the scene in this episode it’s very interesting how her reaction is less of a “I lost an employee” and more of a “when you don’t text your SO and they worry about you” kinda vibe

My favorite thing this episode is seeing everyone going "yeah Yuna has feelings for Yuuga" because she showed concern for him and in the same breath going "Yuna and Rovian are just close friends" when Yuna consistently has like heart eyes and stuff for Rovian exclusively like bruh

The heart eyes and cheering for Rovian is honestly just typical idol fan behavior in anime and manga, and not indicative of any sort of romantic feelings. Could it be? maybe, but so far nothing to be sure about.

@@Vandalieu True. Like Mimi had heart eyes and was cheering for Roa and there is no way Sevens wanted to make a 37yo woman romantically into a child. In the case of Yuna, there could be a chance for an actual romantic crush but maybe it's really just fangirling.

Damn historians really will say huh. Ok let's break it down. Mimi with Roa was exclusively a fangirling sort of thing and we know because the show *explicitly told us* that • there is a roa fanclub • Mimi was in the fanclub • everyone in the fanclub acts exactly the same Rovian and Yuna had no such things and like, this is Yugioh; we had Ai, hell this season we had Chupatarou get a very similar reaction to Yuudias in the costume noting *specifically* that the reaction was at Yuudias himself being cute so like... yeah I think this interpretation isn't that unfair

I was watching yugioh sevens and there is this character called gavin or gacito as he's known in the Japanese and in his first duel with yuga he has 2 people help him one to draw his cards and one to play them Imagine if all yugioh characters did that like yami yugi is fighting marik and he's like joey draw my cards and tristen you play them for me . And they are both like but yug if we do that we will be risking our bodies to the shadow relm two and yugi would be like Pharaoh don't you think this is a bit weird you can hold your own cards you know

His name is Gakuto or Gavin in the Sevens dub. And him having people help him draw cards was only in his first duel because he said it's part of the Sogetsu Style aka a family thing but in the same episode, he realized that drawing the cards and putting them on your duel disk yourself just goes faster than waiting for others to do.

Dylan I suggest you watch Ar V again because if Yudias’s ideals don’t make sense to you I don’t know Yuya would beg to differ because he’s stopped war peacefully So I know Yudias can do the same thing, just on another planet that all it is A war on another planet, where the people want to force violence and scare people You don’t give them that satisfaction and retaliate back, they’ll thunk this isn’t working Heck with this and they’ll eventually stop fighting

Would you say go rush is worth watching? One of the things i regret was watching sevens, it seemed like a waste of time to know each time they had potential over a plot or character, they would waste for including a stupid gag, i dont care if the show is more childish, kids shows have shown a fair entertain and good experience, the problem is when they turn everything into a fairly non-funny stupid thing The lugh was good, a evil king who goes through planets and froze people, simple enough for kids, but interesting enough to watch, it wasnt hardcore stuff like...barians but it wasnt that simple either for any adult to enjoy it....till they make the whole plot revolve around a boring manga- remenber when they defeated lukeman over a cringey superhero acting? Go rush have way more potential than sevens (zwijo first arc was amazing) but im afraid they could ruin it by turning everything into something stupid

For me, a MC who isn’t just around to have the final duel and does more to the move the plot, the characters being overalll worst than Sevens, and Yuamu is a weak female character in that she’s a straight downgrade from Romin. That is all to say, so far I find Go Rush a weaker show than Sevens despite Go Rush fixing two big flaws that Sevens had: a weak plot and even lousier villains. In exchange, Go Rush has a worst MC, a weak cast, and Zwijo hard carrying the story with only Yugi being the most interesting after him.

I have mixed feelings about this episode. The whole nonsense about a size-changing battleship meant to carry millions of soldiers across long interstellar voyages requires significantly less energy than a children's toy (Duel Disks) almost had me quitting the whole show. But the episode managed to rebound from that abysmal bit of world building.
