hello brother. Everything works great for me except I am at Jaden heart 2 duel with Yubel and Gecko. The Duel doesn't load... it is the first duel that doesn't load. Tried to turn off textures and it seems it's not from textures. Any idea please? Thank you for the video and help ! OG FANS HERE

This is a bug I also ran into with this version of the parch. The only thing that worked for me is: - Save the game before starting the dialogue for heart 2 - Download a clean unpatched Japanese iso (just google tag force 3 JP iso and you should be able to find one) - Load up that iso, load your game, and play through the duel in Japanese. - save and switch back to the English patch It’s a bit inconvenient but it does the trick. As far as I know, it’s the only duel in the game with this bug.

UPDATE: The file path on PC appears to be slightly different. I don't remember it being like this prior, but I'm probably just stupid and forgot. INSIDE OF YOU PPSSPP INSTALLATION FOLDER SHOULD BE A FOLDER CALLED "MEMSTICK" Inside of MEMSTICK should be a PSP folder. THAT is where the TEXTURES folder needs to be installed. Other than that, everything remains the same as in the video. Hope this helps :)

For the JP HD texture, some of the cards still remain in low resolution. Could it be that inside the file they don't have the HD image for them? For example like Black Rose Dragon, Red Demon Dragon, and more....

Here is a tutorial for how to set up cheats: m.kzfaq.info/get/bejne/orSUd5mkx9ixYHk.html Once you’ve followed that tutorial and have imported the cheats with Tag Force 3 open, enable all of the “all cards” cheats and one called something like “Mahou! (Must Cast)”. Once you’ve done that it should have all cards with no banlist.

Hey 👋 , Ive been trying this on and off for weeks. It literally just doesn't work. Im on Mac. I managed to get the message saying the texture pack is activated but nothing in game actually changes. Any suggestions ? I appreciate you helping us all out so much

for some reason all the textures work , but not the small and large ones, do you know any fixes? on the deck edit, the large card on the left loads with bad resolution, but the tiny ones are working, the ui frames etc, are working fine.

Hmmm. I’ll have to check to make sure there isn’t a problem with the files I uploaded. I’ll set up a new link today to make sure. In the meantime, I would verify that your “small” and “large” folders are full of 3000+ images. I’ve had issues before where for whatever reason those folders don’t extract properly, so you may need to re-extract if those folders are empty/incomplete

@@AbyssalRel Thanks for the response , i have 3602 cards on each folder, i think i have all the texture pngs, maybe the problem is on the .ini code file? or maybe a hardware limitation, i have a i5 3470, gtx 1060 5gb and 16gb ddr3 of ram memory.

Hey uh, i gotta ask, everytime i try to play, even using the new 2 iso you supply, the textures dont fully load. They load some of them, namely no lightsworn cards load, very few cards load any texture replacements even though the folder has 3600+ files in them each. The way i know its working is that the card backs and the field change.

I wanna add to this comment, i had to WAIT for it to load all the textures, I have to sit at the main menu for about a minute or two and then start dueling for it to actually work.

@@MustaFa-oc6jo My issue was that i wasnt waiting long enough. you have to sit on the title screen for a minute or two before loading into the game or else the textures wont load. also save states made without the textures on will become unusable due to the textures not loading properly, and when your opponents turn starts their ai dies and you get softlocked.

gotta check if it also re-enables the endings because that was the only part that made me angry, japanese game had ending dialogue, english game did not.

Okay, so I just gave this a try, and it's not working for me. I made a texture folder, added in everything from the link, checked replace textures and nothing changes at all. Did I do something wrong?

Inside of the textures folder should be a folder labeled with the game ID. For EU: ULES01183 For JP: ULJM05373 The contents from the texture pack should be in this game ID folder. If you’re missing that, that could be the problem. Also make sure you’re using the correct texture pack for the correct version of the game Hopefully this helps :)

@@AbyssalRel Sorry again to be bothering you with another comment, but I just downloaded Chrisfand's texture pack for Tag force special and it had the same issue as my texture pack did for tag force 3, that the cards still looked rather pixilated on the side of the screen. But for special it would fix itself whenever someone would XYZ summon. And afterwards someone would have to XYZ summon again to get the textures fixed again. So my question is, how the heck do I get the textures to look right on both games? 😭😭I'm so totally confused lol

I wish I knew a specific way to help, sorry. All i can really recommend is triple checking that it’s installed properly. It’s worth re-extracting the files again and even redownloading the iso just to make sure.!Outside of that, you might want to play around with the emulator settings a bit to see if anything helps. Wish I could be of more help

I do hate to bother you again, but while the texture changes to the card sleeves seems to have worked, no matter what I do the actual cards themselves still look super pixelated. And I actually think the EU one is evern worse in this regard. Is there a way I can get my cards to look like yours do in the video?

I had a similar problem for the PC version. Seems to just mean the images aren't being stretched properly, so what I did was reset the PPSSPP settings back to default and turned full screen off. Works great for me now. I know your comment is old but if it can still help you or anyone else who may run across this reply then great!

I don’t know of one that has updated character portraits unfortunately. The Clickclaxer pack had some AI upscaling for some of the assets so it might be a little higher resolution but that’s about it.

Or i'll try to getting the textures online somewhere, but so far the game version textures i found doesn't match clickaxers version...so that won't work.

Hey Rel.... this works to an extent but there are no longer any isos that are fully compatible with the JP texture pack. The second best isos offer the HD/anime style cards but the icons and deck sprites and other improvements are all gone. Which was your favourite feature in the video. Is the clickclaxer patched version just lost ?

OK just installed and configured. Mostly working as per the video....Only problem is the notice on start screen that "video memory is full and slow caching is activated" or something like that. In practice it doesn't seem to do much, I can still play, but I am seeing a few bugs. 1) I see a square frame around most character faces in the rpg world when talking, 2) I see a weird overlay to their body when they walk around like a small aura of yellow sprites. Most annoying is 3), in deck builder, out of 40 cards a few miniatures are always blurred for some reason. And it's random too which ones become low def. I did find an easy workaround though, just toggle display mode from linear to icons or vice versa and back again. So I can live with that, I guess 1) is slightly annoying. Any idea what might be causing this or how I should tweak the settings ? Loving the flow of the game, it's really cool just want to get it perfect like on your video. Thanks

Just changed the backend go OpenGL and it took care of 1), 2) and 3) is slightly better and I need to do the workaround less. Sometimes just wait and the low def icons becomes HD by themselves. I guess the voices are coming out saturated a bit during inflections like when they are shouting or something not sure how to keep the voice from being garbled like that. Made progress either way but I hope OpenGL mode is fine and stable to use long term.

Tweaking the emulators settings will definitely help with most of these issues. It can be dependent on hardware so it’s hard to give specific solutions but I recommend just tweaking audio/visual settings more or less at random and seeing whatever makes it run or look better. OpenGL is perfectly stable and sticking with it is a good idea if it works better for you. As for the textures being slow to load, that should get better as you play. A small delay when first loading each card is normal. I’ve found that simply scrolling up and down the card list in deck edit for a minute or two after booting up the game can help get everything loaded so you don’t run into any slow textures in duels.

Simplified, trying to help: for ppsspp emulator. ▪︎For the Jp game version....Must be the downloaded iso under his description area ((new version))...only way. ▪︎Then download the JP textures link, under description. ▪︎After unzipping games file, put the game & maxco folder in your games, on the memory card if you prefer. ▪︎But After unzipping the textures folder, put the ULJM05373 & maxcco folder "In the textures folder...in your main storage". ▪︎in the emulator, must have "replace textures" checkmarked under tools, developer options. ▪︎ppsspp settings...vulkan, "do not enable any frame skipping", & leave skip buffer effects off. ▪︎Do enable the vertex cache, lazy texture cache, software transform, harware transform, texture type xBRZ, possibly psp2000. ▪︎now set resolution to 3x or 2x & exit to main menu. Exit the app. Go to android app setting & force stop ppsspp. ▪︎start the app & play. Last resort, reset ppsspp setting. Sometimes graphic mess up...especially with save states, so reset the game.

Make sure you’re using the JP iso from the description and make sure you have replace textures enabled in PPSSPP. Also makes sure the files are located in the folder PPSSPP installed in > PSP > Textures > ULJM05373. If you’ve got those 3 things checked it should work on any OS. If you’re still having issues, try redownloading and reinstalling the pack from the latest links in the description.

I did the video on a phone at the time because my computer had died and I was doing all my content from an android device. That being said, the installation is the same across all platforms. 1. Create a new folder named “Textures” inside of your PPSSPP folder (wherever the emulator is installed) 2. Download the “JP Translation” iso from the media firelink in the description. 3. Download the “JP Texture Pack” from the mediafire link in the description 4. Extract the texture pack in the “Textures” folder. MAKE SURE that all files are contained within a single folder named “ULJM05373” It should look like this : PPSSPP home folder |_ Textures |_ ULJM05373 |_ All the texture pack files (large, small, field, etc) 5. Launch PPSSPP and start up the iso you downloaded 6. Go into PPSSPP settings and enable “Replace textures” At this point the textures should begin to load. It may take a minute or two for everything to show up and some card images may lag behind a little, but after a little bit of play time everything should run smoothly. At that point, you can go into the files and tweak things to your liking with the options mentioned in the video

sounds easy just download the patch extract the files into where the emulator is go into settings replace texture,boom game looks improved My slow brain: Downloads, Extracts, Modify settings, Play game.........nothing, am i really that slow? i tried to look up a step by step guide and nothing i'll just stick to the regular looking game,it gets the job done, this is why i dont mess with things i dont understand or know how to do but A For Effort and trying, go me

@@AbyssalRel Hi Its me again......XD sorry to disturb you no matter how much i try to get the texture mode to work it still looks the same 80% the same 20% like some cards look good but they are still blurry other cards are very blurry.....any advice....i know this is a big ask...and its fine if you refuse, but is there anyway you could do a step by step guide on how to do this for PC....i feel like my slow ass brain is the problem...i know someone else who got theirs to work but they refuse to show us how they did it

Just make sure you’re using the most recent version of the iso (new link in discription), download the texture pack, make a folder in your PPSSPP directory called “textures” and extract the texture pack zip in that folder

Clickclax translation are notorious for horrid translation, unfunny jokes, swearing and profanity (cause this is totally edge lord 2003 when this crap was popular), and extreme bias when writing the bios to being flat out wrong and incorrect. Blairs bio I'm Arc V Special is the biggest example Its why translation elites (rightfully) ridiculed that guy for his horrid translation job.

Trust me, I’ve played TF7 so I’m unfortunately painfully aware of how bad his previous work is. The TF3 one has some rough spots but overall I haven’t noticed nearly as many instances of those issues you mentioned. The deck name and team name translations are probably the worst part in my experience. It’s up to you if it’s worth it to play his patch or not. For me, all I really care about is the HD textures and his pack is the best that’s currently available for that.
