@@haomantherighteous7976 actually there's multiple pieces of evidence that show that they are indeed girls. The main ones being that in other languages that have gendered words, the traptrix are identified with feminine gendered words while those same languages have gone out of their way to change and extend the text of cards to fit those gendered words.

Well, unfortunately the girls themselves r in fact the bait the traptrix use to lure in pray. And the bait is far too effective imo. I’ve been tricked by said bait all too many times, and I fly outta there like lightning 1000 miles away in fear everytime I get too close to the monsters laying in wait for me.

I actually ran a 1 shot based on the teaptrix archetype had each monster be a different lost girl leading the adventurers into traps giving them their each respective names as hints and with a successful nature check dc15 they can determine if there is something up with the girls. The end fight they all show their true forms and on the way out a dex check to avoid a giant Venus fly trap

Traptrix are insects and plants, as far as we know because I don't think they ever explained if they are just illusions, actual girls bonded with their insect or plants or spirits.

I still love that those few traps we had back then, that were staples in all the old decks, got their own monster archetype. It gives me a nice nostalgic feeling of using bottomless trap hole on opponents old school boss monsters.

Great content! If I may suggest, bump your volume a little higher. If you have live and post monitoring, have it set between -12 to -6 decibels. Keep the music a little believe so it doesn’t overpower your voice. Something like at -20 to -15 db. That’ll get the perfect balance of voice to music! Also, Fallen of Albaz lore!

Traptrix aren't insects, they are plants- carni/insectivorous plants to be exact. They trapped their prey, by means of tricks like sticky sap, pitcher-like structure. Hence the name "Trap + Trix"
