Here's a fact you missed during the video which I find extremely interesting. Edea can possibly come from the Greek word Ιδέα. Which means Idea. And Edea special summons Eidos from the deck basically describing the creation process. Literally turning an idea into SOMETHING real and physical. I just love all those little things sprinkled in into yugioh and it's the reason I'm watching this channel. I hope you found that little tidbit interesting.

I WANT AN ANIME ABOUT THE 'SPIRIT WORLD' OF YUGIOH! All the Storys told in the Backstorys of Monsters! It seems this is a whole Multiverse with many Dimensions and Planets! Why not making an Anime about THAT?!

Konami has recently given us some lore on the Monarchs, and it turns out they are not kings of the spirit world, but a collection of titans that wander the world destroying everything in their paths, under Erebus. The exception is Ether who appears in the destroyed lands and revitalize them. No word on the vassals though

I had to click this sssooo fast. Monarch's first appearance in GX was kinda dope but the archetype has grown stronger ever since.

I want Monarchs to each get a knight monster, an equip spell Throne, a Castle continuous spell and a field spell representing their kingdom.

I always thought the little guys in domain of the true monarch's artwork were minions of Erebus, but now I can see that they're the original monarchs. Does that mean Eerebus is just that much bigger than the rest of the monarchs?

I want an anime centred around these guys. The shenanigans they get caught up in the duel spirit world would be hilarious. Erebus: Team Dad Ehther: Team Mom Monarchs: Senior members Vassals: Junior members Eidos and Edea (Squires): Lovebirds. Fun fact: Garum is a fish sauce in ancient Rome.

I like to see the Supreme King of GX being the King of the Duel Monsters Spirit World since he has a deep connection to Duel Monster Spirits and he's meant to rule Neo Space so I'd like to say that when he died and was reincarnating as Jaden/Judai he left the Monarchs in charge to watch over the spirit world well that's my headcanon

The Monarchs are my favorite Archetype Design-wise, with the monsters being perfect Duel Spirits to be the last antagonists / final boss of a Yugioh Anime Series.

"Jesus the light Monarch" has a nice ring to it.

Monarch Decks have always been my bane, in the past when they were ran in banishing decks and now with their disrupting of the extra deck...

I've always loved the monarchs. I hope we get a little Vassal mate in Master Duel, maybe even a full-blown monarch like Mobius. Imagine seeing its glistening crystalline armor, clicking on it causing it to look around as an aurora borealis appears in a mist above it before dissipating, or mashing the ground to create a circle of spiky ice stalagmites, or even conjuring a snowball to throw at the opponent. (It'd be cool (pun unintended) if it could hit the opponent's mate with it too but it would be way too much work to make sure it impacts correctly for every mate). P.S. Monarch =/= King. While kings are what they're most commonly associated with. it's basically the ruler of any land that operates based on heirs. So Queens, Emperors, and Empresses are also in the mix.

So these cards are like Yugioh version of the Spirts from Digimon

I am using this archetype (mostly its spells and traps) as a support for my gravekeeper deck, and it's pretty fun tho, you're pretty active during your opponent turn with escalation of monarch + arrival rival.

My best friend plays monarchs. This archetype is disgusting to play against. I actually had to go out of my way and buy mask of restrict just to have a fighting chance.

I really like the videos, however I have noticed some redundancies in the things you're saying. Repeating certain things (like mentioning the mega monarchs multiple times), could be cut down and shorten the amount of information given.

Also Delg The Dark Monarch is the only card from the three archetypes which is currently available in Yu-gi-oh Duel Links. Not sure where the author of the script got the idea that mobius strips are impossible 3d objects. That's not true they are possible, you can make one at home very easily, take a strip of paper and tape it ends together but give one end a twist before doing so. Congrats you made a mobius strip. Fun fact: the recycling logo is a mobius strip 3 twists instead of one. One thing that is impossible in 3d is a klein bottle which is kind of the 4d equivalent of the mobius strip, in fact you'd get a klein bottle if you glued a left and a right handed mobius strip along the edge.

So I went back to look this video up to see any support cards, besides that. Granmarg the Mega Monarch is now the first Mega Monarch on Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links also!

Ehther is not the Latin "Ether", but the Greek "Aether" which is sometimes seen as a synonym of "Pneuma([the] Spirit)" which in Hebrew "Ruach" and was depicted in the "Lost" Gospel of the Hebrews to the Heavenly Mother and therefore the Queen of Heaven.

The mobius strip is not an "impossible" object, you can literally create it yourself by twisting a belt

During your Main Phase, target 1 monster your opponent controls; destroy it and inflict 800 points of damage. You can send this card to the GY (Quick Effect): Special Summon 1 "Eruption the Mega Monarch" from your Extra Deck.

These guys remind me of the Primarchs of Warhammer 40k.

The fire one was the only one we never got to see in action in the anime cause the guy using it was sacrificed into the earth guy's deck to be used for the sacrifice of all the monarchs
