I see comments from 8 yrs to 5 yrs ago. I have no idea if this is a zoo, a research facility, pet monkey breeder or private owner. What I do see is a nasty looking cage with a mom with collar with a chain link on it. A hellish cage and chains too?? Wtf???

also...out of curiosity...I assume the educational requisites are different from country to country for lic to practice. How is it different comparing the US to the Phillipines? I used to work in a clinic for a family medicine residency program years ago. We had a dr that was Vietnamese and had imigrated to the US. He was in the residency due to the different educational requirements, but that was so long ago. I wasn't sure how much things had changed .

Making those really cute baby monkey noise....it was completely amazing how the mother monkey took the baby monkey out of those bars and not even hurting it or twisting the baby monkey in any weird direction .... She removed the baby very smoothly an very easily....

(he was a neat fellow btw. He had many interesting stories. Esp. ones about working in an ER in Saigon the day the US pulled out. Baby rats living in re-bar and filthy rotten dirty concrete for a home. I don't particularly care much for the rats especially the adults, but they shouldn't be living in these filthy conditions

I also think the infant is blind or brain damaged. but he does seem to be getting along better since the first vid and very vocal lol. usually a little infant of this age would be clinging to his mother so there is something going on here that's not good. They are beautiful creatures and I wish I could have one to be a parent to, to love for always! My heart is breaking, so much love I have to give! I would love to have a baby like this ( or one who was abandoned by it's mother but, if someone told me that they have one that lost their mother, yes, without hesitation). My heart is overwhelming with love for these Monkees. Some I know can be the size like these Macaque which deserves as much love as any small adult Monkee. though for better bonding and knowing for sure who the parent is, better when they are this age.

It seems like baby wanted desperately to be with the human doing the video - forget mamma! Baby "Alright, lady, if you won't come in and play with me, I'll come out." When he is stuck, he calmly lets mom save him. It wasn't goodbye to the human, on the other side of the bars, though, just "Another day, then".
