@@leeshgang Maybe u can consider going to Quill BMW for used BMW. Choices are not many but all of them are tip top. Exterior fully refurbished & processing fees less than RM500. All their BMW are 360 fully inspected & their mileage & manufacturing year are real. No alterations. I could say their price are cheaper than SengCar.

I did look for Henry. I WhatsApp him. He promised me to call me once the car is ready. Now is already 3 weeks, no picture no sound. Maybe they don't think I'm a potential buyer. Instead I bought 1 cheaper than them from Quill BMW.

I been to Seng Car HQ showroom in Kajang. Salesman very friendly & helpful. But what I don't like is Seng car advertisement in Mudah.my & carlist. Cars ad that have been sold were not updated. Another most annoying thing is Seng car like to upload fake of the car manufacturing year. E.g the car was manufacturing 2015, but instead post it as 2016 just to attract customer. This is very disappointing especially customer who come straight without call the salesman to view the car. Please don't upload fake car manufacturing year & please delete the ad which the car has been sold. This is to avoid customer come to view the car which has been sold & specific car year or model.

F30 has beautiful exterior with M sport body kit, it looks even more sport-ier compare to G20 as a sports sedan

I don’t deny that conti cars maintenance actually not that far off from japanese cars. But many people misunderstand the concept of maintenance/service with repairs. For example, the fuel pump in a conti car will definitely be way more expensive than a japanese car but then again if you need to replace it, it’s obviously a repair instead of maintenance. Also another thing to note is that, the water pump on conti cars are mostly to be considered as maintenance item as many will fail when around 100k mileage, japanese cars so far do not have reports of water pump interval failures. So that may be a game changer in maintenance cost for those who didn’t know.

i heard that F30 series have a problem which is cannot go through stagnant water area, it's easily making engine need to overhaul due to the design problem..is it true?

That only happens if you purposely go through puddles that are higher than quarter of the tyre, not to say it for sure will happen but more prone. I heard it's due to the air intake facing downwards from bmw technicians. So to prevent that just dont go through deep water.

thanks for the confidence Louis. I'm also looking at a used 120i, but still having doubts due to the usual rumors on reliability and cost of maintaince. Appreciate your video review! Don't mind me using your name at Seng cars ya!

Waittt. Different case for 120i, 120i uses 1.6l turbo prince engine and it's known to be less reliable, personally i would recommend 118i for better reliability even though it's a smaller engine. Even better if you can find a 118i msport variant, looks better than 120i too despite having slightly less power.

Normal Maintenance for BMW / Mercs, are Yearly interval? And cost 1 - 1.5k? Seriously? I'm just curious. I'm always like BMW, but heard of maintain it costs a BOMB! Especially Digital Board issue. I'm driving Perodua Bezza, even with full synthetic engine oil, I'll need maintain Bi Yearly.

Hey Louis, i am currently browsing for a used BMW. Would you prefer this car or the 2016/2017 330e? Any tips on picking a good condition used car? Any recommendations of used car dealers?

Hey there, I personally would prefer the 320i over 330e. Plugin hybrids isn't really reliable and convenient, many owners have told me that they have faced electronic issues and the fact that you need to charge the car daily just to get better fuel consumption is kinda troublesome unless you're fine with that. I would look for one with not too high mileage cause obviously the higher mileage it is the more wear and tear, accurate mileage can be checked with the use of an obd device, and a visual inspection is important to see if the car had any accidents, and of course preferably with a full service record book to prove maintenance was done at authorised bmw service centre. I have not bought any used cars before but you can try contacting Henry as he's my childhood friend so i believe he's trustworthy if you tell him you got to know his contact from Louis Siah. You can also look through bmw premium selection, their prices might be slightly more than used car dealers but at least you know they check their cars thoroughly, at least that's what they promise.

Hi, what’s your preference between F30 and A-Class ? In terms of maintenance and driving experience

Personally the f30 drives better, it's handling is better than a class and more comfortable, steering feel is better than a class too. And if it's still under warranty and free service i would pick f30. A class is pretty entry level to me unless it's the a250 and above but then they are not as comfortable as f30 unless you're looking for the sporty feel. Maintenance wise both the cars are reliable and may have electrical issues every now and then but nothing cannot be solved. I personally drive a f34 and thats pretty much the same as the f30 and I'm loving it all the way, plus mine's the diesel, more reliable powerhouse if you ask me

Hmm i wouldnt say which have more possibilities in oil leakage ba, i heard of mercedes having oil leaks too. I guess it's how we maintain our cars? Touhcwood so far my two bmw for 5 years never face that kind of problem

Hi! I wouldn't recommend the 316i because it's a prince engine which was developed by Peugeot. If i get a bmw I'd much rather get a bmw with a bmw engine.

318i is a good car if you don't mind the features but i do love how smooth the car is. The gearbox, handling and comfort is pretty well balanced. It's enough power for me despite many people say it's underpowered. The only thing is check the car's engine mounting since it's a small cc turbo engine, the vibration from it may wear out the mountings faster.

Yes i do. Very comfortable car to drive just that due to vibration of the small turbo engine might have to change engine mounting. It's not a problem, just a thing that is foreseeable. It's a good car although features are just normal.

It's definitely a risk, so it's important to research online to anticipate the possible problems that could arise and also you will know your financial capability if in the event you need to fix the car if any problem arises. Take your time to verify if the full service record is legitimate and if still under warranty you can check with the car brand usually. Try to find a way to check the mileage with the use of a obd scanner,if possible. Lots to consider, so have to weigh whether it's worth it or not to get that particular used car you're looking at.

How is the road noise when it went 140+ kmh? Drove a 2016 w205 c class and the road noise was loud n unbearable...it felt like the body isnt as solid as bmw.

hmm this may be subjective to everyone but to me there's definitely apparent road noise above 140kmh but I wouldn't describe it as unbearable and i guess it's also partly due to my expectations that run flat would be noisier than usual and the fun in driving BMWs fast is so enjoyable that it takes the road noise out of my mind. i can confirm in the following models that road noise isn't unbearable or the fun just take the noise out of you, previous and current outgoing series of: 3, 3GT, 4, 5, 6GT, 7, i8, M5, X1(wait X1 is actually quite noisy), X3, X4, X5
