宝珠姐23岁，很多演员在这年龄才刚刚挑起第一主角的任务，她却是已坐稳第一把交椅多年的影坛巨星。看得出她是有一点累了。不过还是容光焕发，那是年轻人的本色，真的很漂亮，很有星味。她选择休息是有理由的，但是我觉得她息影25年，真的是太可惜了。如果宝珠姐没有离开那么多年。。。这世界是没有‘如果’的，但还是想看看宝珠姐 20多岁，30多岁，40多岁，会有什么样的演艺。

曾江幾型仔 好有時代氣息

Time flies so quickly. This is a nice film. But, too modern to be a classic. Still a good movie. RIP Tsang Kong. One of the best actors during the 60's and 70's.

曾江有型靚仔，戲路廣闊，能文能武，宜古宜今，亦忠亦奸，是一位不可多得的演員。

結尾首歌寶珠穿著同一色的衫衭很時尚、艶麗地唱出"有誰伴我到明天"唱出了失去愛情的悲傷難過、感覺到她心裏亦都流著淚😢唱得很有感情好聽❤👍👏作曲作詞有水準👍👍

條片原來已經是 52 年前，時光流逝！😔

1 Nov 2022 While we are always grateful for free screenings of past movies on YT particularly since they are about the closest thing to a nostalgic time travel experience, clearly not all film productions are up to scratch. Some are just plain mediocre to put it diplomatically, while others perhaps are best consigned to the archives, undusted. My reservations of this specific film : i) All the reasonably realistic fighting scenes and choreographed singing/dancing moves cannot rescue what is a sadly, badly scripted plot in my book. What's this about both Poh Chu and Kar Yin, the latter supposedly drugged (to deceive the villain chief) suddenly livening up to do a spirited dance number while the rest of the gang members are in an induced drug stupor? Absolutely nonsensical. I understand the need to satisfy fans' hunger for their idols' artistic talents but it surely jars with the overall tone and tension at that particular juncture of the story line. And it must not have escaped viewers' notice (even if not commented on) how Chu's long tresses dramatically got snipped to disguise herself as a male hoodlum, only to have the gorgeous hair restored a few scenes later. Of course it was obvious enough from the outset that both girls were wearing hair add-ons. ii) Both Chu and Yin are in the zenith of their youthful beauty here but the former's acting deficiencies, especially facial gestures in close-up shots, are apparent enough I maintain. I see from a viewer's comments here that Chu retired from acting soon enough after this film, that she was "tired" of the demands of the acting profession and was more intent on being a devoted wife and mother, meaning she had garnered not a bit of acting experience in her bag. Well, excuse me but I have my reservations about her naturalistic acting skill sets. Just my prejudice perhaps. iii) As is so often the case, one must really suspend critical disbelief when the odd trip-up in the script presents itself. The killing of a turncoat member by his fellow gang in broad daylight in the open street begs belief. With no follow-up on the corpse left to decay in full public view while Chu, Yin and police detective Zheng Kong walk away nonchalantly? Not funny. And such fiascos are repeated ad nauseam in 1980s' HK gangster movies. Can get pretty tiresome really. iv) The colour quality of this 1970 film remains impressively vibrant and vivid despite the passage of the decades. Now, that's a pleasant bonus! Thanks.
