@@coders1786 yeah plus it saves varudras for otking in the following turns. Now with the fiendsmith cards you lose access to the codes so otk is alot harder if the dont have a blue eyes on the field. Plus i hated having my yubel stuck underneath varudras so that made phantom worse. Desirae is just so easy to make and you can do 2 fusions. Sequence make desirae then tractus gy effect make lacrima into caesar

@@cardsandcoffeetcgthat’s why you drop Beatrice (gonna get banned anyway) and play the other fiend fusion. No need for M7, you link sequence and green fiend fusion into muck and it revives lotus. No need to play lacrima either. Space isn’t that tight. Just gotta play the different options, tcg exclusives are the goo

Also necroquip makes it “budget” for people to do full fiendsmith combo cause you will only need one engraver and one lurrie, no need for tract as gates or dark beck becomes full Yubel combo as well because of necroquip.

I think that playing the new fusions Is almost a must. Necroquip transoform tract and lurrie in full combo and the aerial eater in this deck Is Better then beatrice

@@antoniomendez1325 I think the minimum is 2 Just cuz some combos you start with 1 and bring the second out of the deck with requiem to get an extra light fiend in grave. The 3rd is just there to see it more consistently ☕️

These is a way to play around dark ruler if you play the other fiendsmith fusion monster , it can negate any card on field , when they dark ruler you , you chain unchained trap then chain fusion fiendsmith negate dark ruler

@@divine6542 yes, I was ironic because for me is mandatory to play the level 9 fiendsmith fusion in order to be protected by dark ruler

When you return monsters to the deck for the summon of Phantom of Yubel, your monsters will be considered Fusion Materials even though it is a special summon. Compare it to Fusion Tag pre and post-errata. Fusion Tag used to say you can treat one monster as one of the materials mentioned on a Fusion Monster if used for a Fusion Summon. That meant you couldn't use the chosen monster for a contact fusion since that isn't a fusion summon. Now Fusion Tag has its original effect from the OCG that says you can treat your monster as one of the names if used as a Fusion Material, meaning you can use them for contact fusions again. Pretty sure if you try to do it in Master Duel as well, you won't get a chance to use it as well for the summon of another one.

I see what you're saying, I'm just wondering since the word "material" does not appear within the summon condition on Phantom. In the things you just said, it does. I just shared what I learned from a well-known German judge, maybe he'll give an update as well :)

@@philippkrmer Sometimes it is not stated in the card but in the names and rules. The names above the effect of a fusion monster are called Fusion Materials. And you have to follow those to summon out Phantom of Yubel. Meaning what you shuffle back to meet its summoning conditions are Fusion Materials.

Unfortunately this is not the case. You cannot go from one phantom into another. 😢 I know it's vague but this is the same as say other contact fusions.
