I get the impression the series will keep flinging 'RUSH DUELS ARE BETTER AND THOSE WHO HATE THEM ARE WRONG' until it is all over. Oh where is Seto Kaiba to just give the kids some monster reborns to speed their decks up to enjoy M Duels

The point of rush duels is to be an alternative for people that feel intimidaded by how complicated and powercreeped master duels are,like those children

@@caiobotelho9733 that seems to be a deck problem. The decks in series only work in rush. They be seen as weak even in the original series

On one hand, sure the duel is kind of a Nail situation. On the other hand, what were you people expecting? They just spent an entire arc introducing an entirely new summoning mechanic, you think they're just going to move on from it after 2 maximum monsters? If this is an entirely a nail RIP off (the duel, not the arc) then Rex Godwin is terrible for using a dark synchro and an earthbound immortal, or literally any villain in ZEXAL II for using a Chaos XYZ. People just seem to quick to judge.

The problem isn't that. In the final parts of the Maximum Arc, we see that Nail creates the Maximum summon. Yes, we still don't have an explanation, but if we don't get some, it will look like Asana just has them because of plot and nothing else.

@@Odd_Eyes I mean, that would be a fair arguement if it wasn't the fact the last episode (ep 34, which if you haven't watched yet, then I do apologise deeply) has spent a fair deal of time establishing the group still wanting to understand how she got Maximum summoning. Spoiler for ep 34 That's why they're at the mine and why they sent off Sebastian and Kaizo Nail, to find out how she got maximum

I mean, the name may be a bit different, but I wouldn’t technically say it’s a new summoning mechanic. Lester, Primo, Jakob and Aporia sort of had the same type of cards with their mech lords. They technically are 5 separate monsters that can combine into 1 big monster with 1 base ATK. This “Maximum summoning” is just basically a rip off of the mech lords by having 3 monsters combine into 1 instead of 5

Honestly I'm not really sure how to feel about this. We get a new group of people that are trying to get rid of Rush dueling? Out of nowhere? We do not even get a proper introduction to this group or any information until the actual episode of their actual debut?

@@ligerprime039 The ones who want to get rid of Rush Dueling is the Goha Corporation, which is this group that controls everything anything in the city. They want to get rid of Rush Duels because they dont want their rules or enforcement questioned

I mean, if you count Maximum Summon as Fusion, then it got broken for some time now. But I don't think that counts. Its completely different from Fusion.

@@vince5456 no, literally in every series someone do a fusion summon, even if it isn't the main summon mechanic of that period, sherry and yusei used during 5 ds, Kite during zexal, arc v I don't need to say, end same for Crain's, they will put the old mechanic in every series

@@vince5456 they didn't put nothing outside special summon and the brand new summon, but think of this, to see ritual fusion synchro end xyz in brains we waited more then 50 episodes so is too early to say if we will see the other summon methods

An attempt to make the arch villain look threatening with his Ace monster, like what happened with Nail, which isn't a bad concept, but it's very noticeable that it's the exact same idea copied and pasted. What can I do to fix it? Well, since the problem is the repeated procedure of Yuga losing to the villain, why not change the loser? I mean, there's Luke right? This would have been the perfect way to give Asana prestige, to be the first to beat someone undefeated.
