Nope. But the mechanic of this game lets you summon multiple monsters, which can then be sacrificed to summon a high level monster. It’s a little like Rush Duels

It's a game developed to attend the casual players that loved the weird series, Forbidden Memories, Duelist of the Roses, Falsebound Kingdom, they were really fun and gave a breath of fresh air to people who loved the series as a whole. If you want to play a more boots on the ground, there's Master Duel or if you just wanna stick to the original but isn't a try hard, there's Duel Links. Konami is making a wonderful job but letting people choose what appeals to them

Yusei Synchro Summoned Stardust Dragon, which required him sending monsters on the field to the graveyard whose level equalled 8. Kaiba Tribute Summoned Blue-Eyes White Dragon, which required two monsters to be sent to the graveyard.

Yeah, Cross Duels has completely different rules than the TCG/OCG and Speed Duels. It’s a nice change of pace because it actually incentivizes strategy rather than slapping down a couple boss monsters and winning the game in one turn.

@@Astro986 Using everything for spamming boss monsters isn't enough, it's fairly easy now to remove them, unless you're playing with noobs. Playing combo and control tought me a lot lol. Master Duel has more strategy than this inherently.

@@phaseloli6668 I didn’t mean to imply TCG Yugioh didn’t have strategy nor am I saying it doesn’t have any at all. I’m just saying it’s a nice change of pace because those duels are so short. It’s nice to take your time and actually outwit your opponent.

@@randomprofile5853 Oh for sure. As I said to the other guy, I didn’t mean to imply there’s no strategy in regular Yugioh. But due to the fast pacing of that format, it’s easy to think that it doesn’t, especially when people run the same cards regardless of the deck, like Ash Blossom, Impermanence, etc. This is my personal opinion btw.
