Tip for Ra players: As Golden Apples as played here, another way of using them is to give Ra almost INFINITE attack! His effect to drain your LP and gain your LP is not a "Once per turn" effect, you can activate it multiple times in a turn, so use like three of the Golden Apples to give your Ra LOADS of attack! 4000 LP Duel - 11700 attack 8000 LP Duel: 28700

Step 1: Gain insane LP Step 2: Summon Ra and activate the first effect Step 3: Chain Golden Apple to Ra Step 4: Gain a very intimidating beat stick and get LP back Step 5: Activate Ra second effect and destroy all oppornant monsters Step 6: Beat the shit outta them

Can this actually be done? It doesn't seem like it can be done, as Ra's first effect only kicks in when it is Normal Summoned. Which, while it isn't a once per turn effect, is a "when it's normal summoned" effect, and not something that can be activated. Also, even if it was, Golden Apples only works when dealt battle damage. I don't think payment will suffice. Then again I could be totally wrong in all of this, so video example would be very very nice, please.

@@assassingoose3984 the God cards SUCK. Slifer's attack points rely on cards being in your hand after 3 tributes. Not to mention his second effect is useless in this matchup. Ra is a straight up joke, and obelisk is the only semi decent one, but even he gets beaten over by Raviel. The main difference between the gods and reprint gods is that you can have all 3 reprints on the field at the same time.

One of these days, there's gonna be Egyptian God support that will make them viable. Maybe a Obelisk Cube Form or something that allows you to Norma l summon using other things such as cards in your hand or stuff.

Around a certain mission level you can have missions to unlock many characters including marik the missions for him are difficult but worth it when you get marik you can battle with him against yami yugi and get Ra
