I actually have a lot more profiles than you’ve probably seen, and my very first build was a pure version of the deck, using Lilith lady of lament and card of demise to get you a first turn naga.

I’m going to link those profiles for you below. My original build was pure venom first turn Vennominaga! While I’ve really enjoyed making this current deck, and have tons of ideas for it, I also haven’t given up on the pure build that made me fall in love with the deck in the first place. Totally agree! It’s such a great first turn board piece to play on your opponent, especially because they are not expecting it. You can actually run a suite of water level 4 reptiles and make bahamut and even run stealth kragen and spawns for extra spicy plays.

@@ricardonunez9360 Let me know how it works for you! There are so many different options you can run in your main deck and extra deck that provides an extra added speed to the strategy. On link evolution, you might be able to try out The water reptile build but utilize things like silent angler instead as I am pretty sure king of the feral imps does not need reptiles as XYZ materials.

@@juniorquinones5221 great question! I’m no closer to building one than I was, but I’ve been kicking around some ideas for a while. Perhaps you could build something good! Here’s what it would look like: find some way to generate a bunch of zero attack tokens, and preferably make them indestructible. Scapegoat to two helps out with this but I am sure there are better token generators out there. Venom swamp destroys anything it turns to 0 but it can’t destroy anything ALREADY at 0. What this means is that at each end phase, you have venom counters generating on all your monsters and your opponent’s monsters, up to 12 counters per end phase, not including other cards you play to generate counters. Then because venom burn is a normal trap, you can grab it out of the deck with trap trick, lord of the heavenly prison, or Lilith lady of lement. If you can keep 4 scapegoat tokens alive for 2 turns, that’s 5,600 damage, but because your opponent will control monsters, it will probably be more. Just take them out with burn traps after that.

Agreed! The Ogdoadic trap is also really nice for getting some extra pieces on board and doesn’t even require a reptile in grave!

Wow! Color me surprised!! I don’t play master duel so I never expected this. This video is from months ago so I just kind of assumed people had moved on to different decks. So glad to hear people are still playing it!! You were spot on re Keurse. He’s in all my updated builds and has quickly become my new favorite Ogdoadic. His serious versatility has allowed me to experiment with rank 8s and 4s, and I’ve used him to go into draglubion and heart earth, and of course, baronne. My most recent build runs dpe since it’s destruction effect doesn’t miss timing, but the deck got hurt badly when verte was banned. It is nice that we got a fusion destiny back on the most recent list, as dpe’s atk reduction effect has gotten me plenty of vaskii plays off. Thanks for watching the vid and for your great comment! That’s correct! I think viper’s rebirth was created with that destruction effect solely to easily trigger your rise. As rise is a “when…you can” card, you will need to activate its effect at the destruction of king during the end phase. Thanks so much man! Really glad to hear you’re enjoying the deck and hope you’ve had tons of fun games and wins with it! If you’re looking for another great card to try out, I’ve been enjoying rebirth of judgment! Makes all of your monsters in grave reptile, which is super helpful to allow you to run extra deck monsters while also keeping everything in grave reptile for viper’s rebirth!

Could Try Kagetokage there's about 9 or so level 4 monsters in this deck so it should be pretty ok im most situations. Though its restriction of not being able to be normal summoned and only being special summoned by normal summoning a level 4 monster is kinda restrictive

I used to run them in my very first build but ended up taking them out due to not having a consistent way to get Vennominaga to the field especially when you have to deal with hand traps and negation. This deck is designed to get her out first turn, but that doesn’t mean she will always be summoned. Besides, she’s plenty strong on her own! And no guarantee your opponent will even have monsters to summon against her.

No idea, I don’t play it. My best advice would be to look at some of my other comments on the channel. I talked extensively with Ricardo Nunez about different reptiles you can run to replace the stuff that’s missing from the game. Lots of good options to run!
