You can't put the rear strut brace on the top of shock absorbers (and I know that some crappy companies do that) because firstly you risk breaking the shock absorber, and secondly it doesn't strengthen anything since the connection between the shock absorber and the body is not rigid, but moves in the shock absorber mounts. You can put a larger diameter pipe on the ends of the strut brace and weld them to the body, with the shock absorber bracket passing through the middle. And I know it's not finished, but I'm assuming you're going to put the tubes that connect the top of the cage at the b-pillar to the rear inner fenders directly, not just diagonally.
