Amazing Grace Truthfully, I just heard about SNSD, but I knew nothing about them. And then my lil students kept telling me about SNSD girls. One of them was fond of the members named Seohyun and Taeyeon. I couldn't help it, and began searching about them. It's kinda hard to memorize all of them, and I think Taeyeon captured my attention when she was covering Hush Hush. I increasingly admired her when she sang a song titled Devil's Cry :D. Hahaha... sorry, I talk too much :D

Lol, I've noticed before in many of her performances she looks quite satisfied with her high notes right after she sings them. I now see somebody else noticed.

태연은 대체불가지만 비교하자면 뭔가 한국의 테일러스위프트같달까.. 둘다 음색이 엄청난 개성이 있는 건 아니라고 느끼지만 소화할수 있는 장르가 정말 다채롭고 하얀 도화지같음 노래들을때면 항상 깨끗담백하다고 느낌

대중에게 가장 저평가되고 있는 아이돌. 보컬리스트.그리고 아티스트. 지금도 대단하지만 시간이 흐른후에 사람들이 그녀가 얼마나 대단한 뮤지션이었는지 더 깨닫게 되는 날이 올듯요

just another KPOP PEN there was a back track added for certain parts that overlap each other. And also the bridge and last chorus while she did the ad-libs. So yes back track was needed or it would just be flat out weird for her to be hitting all these high notes in the last chorus but no one is singing the last chorus. Make sense?

daydream I think sketchbook only uses background singers when they perform with the live band. Now if taeyeon performed with the live band instead of with the instrumental. I think they would have gave her background singers. But since you brought that up. I kind of want a version performed with a live band and background singers. I feel like it would give the song a slightly different feel. :)

daydream yes! Especially during the slow parts with just the guitar. That would be beautiful. Like I truly wish the producers invite her to sing on immortal songs. I feel like that would be THEE standout performance if her career. She gets the full live band she gets to rearrange a classic song and sing it her way. Plus the background singers would be a nice touch for her to just go crazy with vocals. I wonder what's taking them so long to invite her.

Everytime WE SONES says Taeyeon is the best singer, why would you compare her to Hyorin and Ailee? Don't make some excuses that we don't know anything about vocals, because we do. Yes, I admit her vocals are not that strong as Ailee and Hyorin but for me a singer don't necessarily need to hit high notes because a singer needs to deliver the emotions and the meaning of the song. I don't care if you don't agree with me but please can you let us enjoy her music? Enjoy her singing? Did we ever bad mouthed Hyorin and Ailee? No, so please I'm sick with this fan war

지금은 같이 일 하는지는 모르겠지만 탱구 솔로활동 I 부터 해서 fine 까지 쭉 보면 코디 누군지 너무 잘해ㅎㅎㅎ 딱 감각이 있어ㅎㅎ 솔직히 감각은 타고나는건데 진짜 못입히는 코디들 수두룩인데 저시절 탱구 코디 i랑 같은분인것 같은데 진짜 잘입히고 탱구를 한층 세련되고 너무 예쁘고 스타일리쉬하게 만들어줘서 좋았음ㅠ 코디 누군지 아시는분 있어요?계속 같이 일했음 좋겠음

진짜 이 무대는 보고 또 보고 다시 봐도 좋고, 종종 다시 찾아보게 된다... 헤어, 메이크업, 태연의 가창력, 무대 조명, 카메라 감독의 센스까지 어우러진 완벽한 무대ㅠ 마지막에 휘몰아치는 애드립 속에서 감탄하다가 끝나는 순간 머릿속에 아 완벽하다 라는 생각밖에 안들어...ㅠ

Dennis Wang I don't think so. Hyolyn sounds way better than Taeyeon. Her voice always sounds forced while Hyolyn's voice is super powerful and doesn't sound strained. I'm not hating on Taeyeon, though. She's really good and I like her songs, but... No.

nah i disagree with your opinion. imo hyorin sounds too strained and sometimes uncomfortable to listen to. taeyeon is also strained, and ailee makes me tired to listen to her repeatedly. the only powerful female kpop vocalist i really enjoy to listen to is Jooyi from RaNia

I feel like this is the best performance for Fine. In fact, I can tell that all three songs she sang at YHY Sketchbook seems to be the best. She seem so relaxed and being herself when she sang all three songs. Love her so much T^T

Sketchbook has the best audio setup for live performances. Other shows, even if say, YB or other bands were to perform they have to use pre-recorded music. Sketchbook has a great house band and audio system for live music

for me, Taeyeon is the best of all the vocalists I've heard. i know it's totally a biased opinion but her voice is doing something on me. i am not just impressed everytime she sings but she's creeping inside my heart and soul and she makes me feel all the heartbreaks and pains and happiness that every song conveys when she sing 'em.

팬들이 하도 앞머리 덮는게 좋다vs아니다 앞머리 까는게 좋다 티격태격하니까 반만 까고 나타난거..💕 진짜 너무 귀여워ㅠ 쉼표머리도 잘어울리는 잘생쁨 태욘ㅠㅠㅠ너무 이쁜데 잘생김… 아무래도 출구는 없어💕

태연은 20대때 이미 같은 또래에선 최고실력이었고 30대에 들어오면서 보컬완성도가 대한민국 최고수준이 되었지 사람들이 잘 몰랐을뿐 하지만 비긴어게인에서 한번 보여주고 근래에 킬링보이스에서 또 한번 클라스를 보여줬지

태연은 이런 메이크업이 최고야.. 얼굴은 작고 눈이 크고 동글동글한데도 라인이 뭉툭하지 않고 예쁨. 굳이 라인을 진하게 그리고 눈 화장을 스모키하게 해서 눈 모양이 다른 모양으로 바뀌지 않았으면 좋겠음. 이때 메이크업 보면 쉐도우는 진해서 스모키 해보일 수 있지만 라인은 뭔가 인위적으로 바뀐거 없이 원래 눈매 그대로 그려서 원래 태연이 가진 눈을 선명하게 보여줌. 나 남잔데 뭘 안다고 떠든거야;

아직도노래가좋네요.... 이노래가나올때쯤 제가 살아아면서 제일 좋아하는분과 관계를끝나고나서 우울한느낌을없애자느낌에 이노래를 반복재생을 틀어놓고운전하면서 경기도안산에서 하루종일 충청도찍고 경상도찍엇다가안산에온기억이있네요..... 그분을 아직도많이 보고싶네여ㅠㅠ 그분이 마지막 이였습니다....

no worry... sones did the same to IU, some always trashing IU every chances the got... it's a given for taeyeon to get the same treatment from ailee and hyorin's fans. it's not a good thing of course but the cycle will always repeat. all these fights actually came from readers of kpopvocalanalysis site...suddenly everyone are experts once they read stuffs from there lol

me as a sone. i would never expect that i would be a haters of iu. because she's just nice and beautiful. plus, she's working with Seohyun ( on Scarlet Heart ). lollll, as a sone, it's really nice when you can see your bias were working and being friendly with other actor/actress or singer. and you just automatically would shipping them 😂
