I went to the snowy plateau in my favorite Hijet panel van.
It's wonderful to spend time with the snowman while enjoying the warmth of the wood stove.
For dinner, I baked naan and ate my favorite Indian curry.
However, as the night progressed, a blizzard turned into a snowstorm, and we had to evacuate early the next morning.

I live in Alaska and would suggest that you bank snow up against the bottom of all sides of the camper extension. Also closing off the underside of the vehicle to the camper extension would greatly increase the heat retention of the extension. Just a helpful suggestion from an experienced camper in extremely cold camping situations. Love the options of the full scale of your camping setup!

You always seem to camp in the most beautiful places, but it looks like the weather just keeps getting worse. I know that you know what you're doing, but I also know that in weather like that, you can get into trouble fast. Please be careful and always aware of your surroundings. Both meals looked great, being hot when it's so cold. Your snowman looked happy and the soft light was beautiful on the snow. Excellent video, will be waiting for your next one. This is the coldest season in Japan. I think that after this period we will move towards spring, so I think the weather will get better. 👍 Although it was snowing, we were able to have a very warm meal thanks to the wood stove. 😊 I think the snowman is happy too. 😊

暖炉をしているのに片側を開けていては部屋は全く温かくならないのでは？画的に開けている方が見映えが良いと考えられているのかも知れませんが、他の方々のキャンプ動画も沢山見ますが、見ていて一番すごーく寒そうです。😅 部屋として閉めた中での薪やり動画で、本当に暖かそうにくつろいでいる方が現実的なキャンプとして見れるので、十分素敵ですから、是非是非寒そうな撮り方はなされないで、現実的な温かい動画で大丈夫です。大雪と薪やりの外と中との温度差の対比がキャンプの醍醐味なので、せっかく小物も、料理も素敵なのに非常に寒々しいのが勿体ないです。朝、車個室のご飯を食べてる動画で、やっとこちら側もホッとします。

まず映像から寒さが伝わって嬉しく思います。並びにご不快になられたことをお詫び申し上げます。ご意見の件ですが、ご指摘の通りでごもっともだと思います。いずれ映像と音にも重点を置いた動画になっていますので、行き着いた先はこのスタイルになりました。私自身は、登山用のアンダーウェアやダウンなどで対策していますので、そこまで寒いわけではありません。なので動画内では寒いなど悲観的な字幕は入れないようにしています。（ツッコミが来るので・・😅）人間って、人それぞれ感じ方が違うので面白いですね・・この程度の気温だと問題ありませんが、強風や極寒の場合は早々閉める事もございます。（今年は暖冬で無かったですが）ご指摘の件も踏まえて、参考にさせていただきます。ありがとうございました。

I gave that wooden bowl to the snowman. 😄 A wood stove water tank attachment is an option for this wood stove. The manufacturer is Mt.SUMI. However, since it is exclusive, I don't think it will fit with other wood stoves.

I enjoyed your video and of course your snow man. I have to say, some like getting out alone and camp, but I like taking my wife along to enjoy the experience as well. But either way is better than not going at all... Thumbs Up!

So my son surprised me last may with an astro van conversion. Diesel stove, really good insulation. And I was looking forward to taking it up to mount hood here in 12:45 oregon this. winter. Then in mid december I had a quadruple bypass and so i'm in my second month of recovering from surgery. Maybe they'll still be snow up there for march and I can go. So watching your videos is very pleasant❤ 13:37 .❤❤❤

You have a really good setup with your truck but does the wind come from under your truck right into your tent? The trucks were placed with the wind direction in mind, so there wasn't much wind coming in. But it's more comfortable with a cover. 👍😊

The fan is the one that sends heat from the wood stove. This will help circulate the warmth inside the tent.👍
