After John Adams "Must the devil have all the good tunes?" and Teddy Abrams jazzy piano concerto this is the third piano concerto written especially for Yuja. All of the three are completely different and all of them are fantastic compositions. My wife and I were so lucky to attend this one live in Lyon! Speechless....she's really the Queen of Piano! 👍 👍👍

She’s a “wonder” alright. I wonder why she’s feeling the need to dress like a Las Vegas cocktail waitress without the bunny ears. They should suspend a trapeze over the piano and she can pretend she’s at the circus! Her costume is entirely inappropriate and degrades the music and composer. I would feel insulted and I don’t want to see a woman’s half naked body when I’m listening to fine music. I’m not alone. It’s just too much.

Yujia is absolutely a piano queen. People like to follow tradition to comment Yujia's dressing, Yujia's opinion is that music is always an enjoy and show, dressing should give an additional mark on this point during the performance.
Sounds like a musical score for a movie. Yuja is extraordinarily talented. I compared her performances to others playing the same songs and her versions sound better to my ears. Highly technical with clarity yet mature emotional and colorful. Perfection

Titi' lovely

Gee, pardon me for being parochial but I think the conductor is sensational. I loved watching him work it. And I found the piece, which was like nothing I’d ever heard before, engrossing. As for Yuja…why did she choose to play this? Maybe because it’s challenging and she’s likes it. What else? She’s too smart to choose dead-end material. And who could gainsay her extraordinary talent? Not parochial me.
