It’s explicitly stated that Yuji’s abilities work on the same principle that Sukuna’s do and that Sukuna ate his twin to get dismantle, who of course was not an object. Besides all that Nanami’s ct was reused for a cursed tool which his student had been using against Sukuna. Obviously neither Kenjaku nor Sukuna had any part in its creation as that would create yet another plot hole.
