Yuji Nishida (西田 有志, Nishida Yūji, born 30 January 2000) is a Japanese left-handed volleyball player. Currently Nishida isn't in a club (Left the JTEKT Stings on the 26.5.23)
Nishida made his debut with JTEKT Stings at V.League on 6 January 2018 in a match against Osaka Blazers Sakai. His impressive debut at the young age of 17 soon earned him a position in JTEKT's Starting 6,[4] as well as Japan men's national volleyball team. Nishida led the national team to seventh place at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, its best result 29 years.
Wilfredo León Venero (born 31 July 1993) is a Cuban-Polish professional volleyball player. He was a member of the Cuba national team from 2007 to 2012, and is a current member of the Poland national team and Sir Safety Perugia. A silver medallist at the 2010 World Championship, and a two-time NORCECA Champion (2009, 2011).

I could see Poland's overall strength. Japan was able to test many new players. In particular, Poland's high speed serve can be determined at a high rate, and the power of the floater-serve combination from there will increase even more. In the second half, Japan was also able to attack while watching the hands of their opponents' blocks. I got the impression that Japan did not have a good combination with their new setter, Eiro. Thank you for your hard work in the 12 rounds of qualifying. I look forward to seeing how much the team's strength will improve by the time of the main tournament, and how exciting it will be.

Poland is testing its new players in practically every match at this VNL and they smoked Japan even without Kurek, Bieniek, Semeniuk, Fornal or Bednorz... like in the other 20 out of 22 matches (excluding sparring matches) won against Japan.

I hope this is Japan's strategy to see how Poland plays. They are going to need a lot of strategies and luck moving into the semi and finals. I hope they win this year, but the battle ahead is tough knowing they will face Poland, Italy, USA, and Argentina.

Japan's is pretty Impressive, They lost because they weren't tall enough, most of them were only 1.9 m tall, Nishida was only 1.86 m and even Masahiro Sekita Thier's best Setter (not Play in this match) only 1,5 m, while most of the European or American players were over 2 m, that's why the spikes from the Japanese players were so easily repelled by them.

Well, i was amazed at the team poland coach’s comment about the setter for this match. It seems that they are expecting sekita to play today… though it’s really better for team b to exp the greatness of the last year’s top teams. And good for japan’s team a to observe their future matches for the quarter finals and finals(hopefully)…

Sekita played terrible against Italy yesterday, making a ton of basic mistakes, so it's no wonder Blain didn't send him on the pitch today. Eiro is a better setter than Sekita, which he proved today by playing practically flawlessly. Poland smoked Japan even without Kurek, Bieniek, Semeniuk, Fornal or Bednorz... like in the other 20 out of 22 matches (excluding sparring matches) won against Japan.

Wilfredo León is now proudly playing for Poland. He used to play for Cuban national team. I don't really know the exact reason, but one I heard of is, he got expelled from the Cuban national team because he left Cuba to play overseas

Without takahashi their floor defense really suffers a lot. Otsuka and Nishida just cannot dig attacks as efficiently as Ran. And otsuka while he had a good game as Ran's substitute just doesnt have quite the kill efficiency of Takahashi. At some point in the game otsuka and nishida were just relying on dinks and weren't spiking at all bec they realized they couldn't penetrate the Polish block. Nishida needs to shape up as he has really lost his efficacy in scoring. Having too many service errors isn't helping him either.

@@fighter86pl Do finałów jeszcze daleko. Jeśli wtedy pokonamy stany to wygramy cały turniej. Chłopaki i trener wiedzą co robią i widać to było w dzisiejszym meczu. Nie wiem jak ta Japonia mogła tak wszystkich kosić, a od nas dostać takie manto

@@miglanc0.7 Japonia ma krótką ławkę i grali bez podstawowego rozgrywającego i przyjmującego. Na środku też rezerwy. A Takahasi z przyjmujących w VNL ma najlepsze statystyki ze wszystkich graczy, więc była to spora strata. Bez niego by nie wygrali z Argentyną czy Brazylią.
