The anime didn't really explain wtf happened during the last sequence so here's a quick explanation: Mahito reduced his cursed technique to only work if he uses his hands in return for a massive boost to his power and defence. And the time lag Mahito mentioned is talking about Yuji's new ability, he can choose when the second wave of his CE strikes the victim of his previous punches. He used it to throw Mahito off when he was about to counter him with the spikey thing on his elbow.

W episode its crazy how these animators are going through it and still keep on dropping bangers in such little time

Fake Geto is supposedly more powerful than Original Geto as that talking brain thing is able to use all the powers of its current host on top of retaining all the knowledge of every other host it's inhabited for however long it's been around. Also, I don't think it would be possible for Yuta to show up, as the only way anyone knew about the plan in Shibuya was via Mechamaru's little speaker things. He said he made 3 of them - 1 for Yuji, 1 for Miwa, and the 3rd one hidden on the subway platform and destroyed by Mahito. So the only way Yuta could find out would be via seeing it on the news (or Twitter), then book a ticket from Kenya to Tokyo, which is about a 20 hour flight. If the story arc lasts into the following morning, I guess it's conceivable he could appear.

This had me more hype than the manga fight. They made this so beautiful its crazy.

They managed to trap Gojo on the prison realm because the condition is that the target stays within the 4 meter radius while 1 minute passes inside the target's mind. Geto showing up made Gojo remember a lot of memories, what accounted for way more than one minute inside his mind.

Yeah with Black Flash they described it as being 'in the zone'. So my assumption here was that Itadori was trying to hyperfocus to get into that headspace again in hopes to land one, and it ended up working. And that sorcerers just can't force that, it's just by chance that they get into the zone and land one. But maybe Itadori is figuring out how to channel that feeling and use it to guarantee landing one? It would be cool as hell if he can manage to do that in the future. Todo is ridiculous but I love him 😂 Shame about his hand but maybe he'll figure something out in the future. Glad to see Mahito finally suffering but was also not expecting to see Geto here. I figured he just took off lmao

todo didnt swap mahito at the last scene because at that time BOTH his hands were fucked up already so boogie woogie was dead one he cutted off from being in mahitos domain expansion for 0.2s, while the other was burnt when he clapped it with mahitos hand to swap with yuji

Mahito's form in this episode was gained through an immense understanding of his own soul. In exchange for not being able to use Idle Transfiguration on most of his body(except his hands), he gained a massive boost in his physical and defensive abilities thanks to a binding vow. It's stated that this form is about 200 times tougher than his normal state. Yuji's hits that did so much damage before were suddenly having no impact on Mahito. It's stated in a little volume extra that if Yuji hadn't nailed Mahito with that last Black Flash, he would've been instantly torn to shreds. To me, one of the most interesting things about Mahito is how fast he grows. His potential. He's still essentially a child due to how young he is. Yet he managed to master Domain Expansion(something many sorcerers can never do), learned to transfigure himself more, found a counter to Simple Domain, used Black Flash, copied a very specific technique that GOJO of all people used on instinct by releasing his Domain for 0.2 seconds in order to counter Sukuna inside Yuji, told the King Of Curses to move aside, and discovered his true form thanks to realizing who he is. If he didn't have damage already accumulated in his soul or didn't have to worry about Sukuna being inside of Yuji, this wouldn't have even been a fight. Because he would've just used his more powerful soul techniques and just transfigured Yuji and then Todo. Mahito was the exact Curse that Sukuna said Jogo should've been. Someone who destroyed everything around him and lived only for himself and the torment of others. But in the end, Mahito's steps towards greatness were halted by a max power Black Flash straight to the soul. Centered on an unprotected part of his body. He managed to permanently cripple Todo and prevent him from using his technique ever again due to damaging his soul. And now, "Geto" has appeared before Mahito. Questioning if he will save him.

Its actually upsetting Todo not having Boogie Woogie, Like Losing Nanami means no more Nanami, Nobara means no more Nobara, Megumi n Yuji moments, But no more Todo n Yuji Boogie Woogie Magic is just as saddening in the end Imo, Im glad Todo survived least so far but least give him 1 hand man, Least give him ability to still use it just not as effectively without both hands, I feel his hand could be healed n but dont think his other hand can be fully restored, Man we just lost So Much In Shibuya!! Hoping they end season off with certain appearance by certain character, Cant tell if its a Season 2 ending type scene or Season 3 opening type scene but slight cliff hanger for S3 with his appearance makes most sense…

Im an anime only so dont tell me if im right or not, but my theory is that Geto is going to absorb mahito and use him as his own weapon. When mahito was fighting Mechamaru he was badly hurt and Geto got very excited, remember a curse as strong as mahito has to be essentially on deaths door to be absorbed by Geto. I cant wait for next week

You cant do Black Flash at will but I think you can imagine it like having a Red, Blue and Yellow ball in hands behind back, Choose one and throw punch with it in hand and call out its color before striking, Best way I can describe Black Flash, Only I think they know if theyll get Black Flash before mid punch like theyll know just before winding back to throw punch or kick, And if they feel theyre getting it they call it out… Its possible its just based off assumption course being in the moment doing well in fight could feel like theres good chance they could get a Black Flash so they attack hoping so then call it out mid attack after feeling they did get it… Imo Yujis last wasnt at will but rather he was confident he could in that moment and luckily got it…

Yuji was yapping for so long that he even lost his revenge on mahito. Thats incredible
