Hakari became Immortal, Yuta is in love with a curse, Maki left her humanity behind and turned into a monster, Kashimo literally turned into a beast, Sukuna gave up his humanity to become the king of curses, Gojo was a god from birth and was the honored one, but Yuji is the representation of humanity in JJK. Everyone who died for him, Higuruma, Nobara, Nanami, Junpei, Todo, they were all human. He is the combined hopes and dreams of humanity, his main rival was the hatred and crushing reality of humanity, while Sukuna represents the outside forces of this unforgiving world, the calamities that they are. But despite all of this, Yuji perseveres through it all, he takes his strong foot forward and even through the absolute worst of the worst to ever be seen in Shonen, he remains human. Yuji is JJK's best character because he is us, and in the end, he will always persevere, he carries the torch and his flames with it are never to be extinguished, but instead to burn as bright as possible. Yuji is us, and we are Yuji, and THAT is why Yuji is JJK's best character, because he is easily the most inspirational character in the entire cast and among the most inspirational anime/manga characters of the modern era.
