To explain what vince mcmahon did to bret hart, it's called the Montreal screwjob. It's that moment where bret never tapped to his shsrpshooter from shawn michaels, but the bell was rang anyways and the title given to him. That was legit real and bret was pissed for years over it, rightfully so. The plan was for it to be a match series with bret dropping in the next one, but vince changed it with no warning, in bret hart's home of Canada

Even before making any kinda of deal with ares kratos was warmongering ashole.His own wife told him to stop doing that and yet he ignored her and continued to do that until he mesed up and had to give his soul to ares to survive consenqences of his actions.

And even after all that he continued to be bloodthirsty psycho even when ares didnt told him to be and lets not forget that even the priestes has warned him and yet he chose to ignore it.i felt bad for his wife and kid(ares was also evil as hell and did put his family there) but i honestly belive kratos reaped what he sowed.Theres a reason old kratos is ashamed of his younger self.

From what I remember, Vince did not want Bret Hart to be the face of the WWE, WWF during the 90’s and early 2000’s, as he was Canadian, not American, so he personally booked matches to make him look bad and even made him lose the WWF World Champion to the point of which Bret tried assaulting him in front of fans in the ring, which got Bret fired. If this information is incorrect, I’m sorry for my fellow WWE fans as it has been over a decade since I’ve seen or played anything involving WWE. Plz let me know if I am wrong and comment the reason.

Not quite what happened. Basically Bret Hart was about to leave the WWE for WCW but he was WWE champion at the time. Bret agreed to drop the title before leaving, but Vince got paranoid that he would end up leaving early and taking the WWE title to WCW. There was precedent for this as WWE Women’s Champion Alundra Blayze went to WCW and dumped her championship into a trash can live on air, and Ric Flair famously brought the WCW World Heavyweight Championship when he came to WWE. Because of this, Vince screwed Bret in his hometown of Montreal, having Shawn Michaels “submit” Bret in his own Sharpshooter, the ref called the submission even though Bret didn’t tap, and he handed Shawn the belt and ran away. Both Shawn and Bret seemed super confused though Shawn was likely in on it. Bret spit on Vince before leaving the ring and Vince let Bret punch him once backstage.

"You killed your own family yourself!" While Kratos did kill them, he WAS tricked into doing so. He had his wife and daughter stay in Sparta, but Ares had them moved to the village that Kratos was burning down in his plan to make him the perfect warrior. Kratos didn't even notice it was his own wife and daughter until after he killed them, meaning Ares must have made him see them as someone else
