The manga industry is so strict and demanding that many of their mangakas develop life long health issues like Togashi. Coming up with the creative process, drawing and writting an entire chapter in a single week is completely asinine. The only way someone can keep up with this shit is by becoming an absolute monster of a mangaka who dedicates their entire life to their work like Oda or Akira Toriyama. But most people need to have a life outside their job, social interaction is very important for a human's correct functioning, these people don't even get to see their families most of the time. The expectations of a mangaka is so stressful that some just die young, kentaro Miura died at 54 from a heart attack. Besides that, many mangakas lose their love for their work because of the toxic environment, they'll leave a series without an ending or just stop writting all together. Like Masashi Kishimoto, he didn't stop writting but he lost his touch, his stories just aren't what they used to be. He tried to make a new manga with samurai 8 and absolutely noone cared.he's living off the Naruto ip and it's fame. And honestly, i can not blame him, writting a weekly manga is not easy at all, i too would eventually lose track of what i wanted to make/what made my story special. Yeah, Gege decided to end the series early, but the industry doesn't leave him many options either. It's either that or keep pushing forward while his health detriorates and his very work withers away.

@@MultiDiceman depends, we still haven't seen Yuta's domain expansion and we know he has one, but i don't think Yuta would be able to copy purple without heavy drawbacks, remember Gojo has six eyes as well as limitless, that's why he can control curse energy to such a degree to use it (purple) without falling back

@@sirperybLakeney well, even that is debatable since Tengen and Yuki were able to restrict the planetary black hole down to less than city level so if Tengen and Yuki who had minimal control over the runaway black hole can contain a black hole then I don’t see any reason why anybody that scales way past them wouldn’t be able to stop it. Gojo could probably hollowpurple it since hollow purple is the convergence of two simultaneous singularities, and Sukuna could just use domain expansion to at the very least create a safe-area where the black hole can’t reach him, but in all likelyhood Sukuna could just use his World-cleave to destroy the black hole.

I believe Yuki will get a good amount of callbacks to fill in the blanks. Hopefully when Todo returns

I get wanting more from her but she did speak to the students after gojo was sealed.She talked to yuji and megumi about what path they would take and that she necessarily wasn't on their side.Not to mention she spoke to maki about her hr body and how that aligns with her goals.She purposefully chose to stay back to talk to tengen about her ideals.This is pretty much the reason why I think she will play a role posthumously in the series because the chapter chapter where she died feels a lot more open ended than how it is presented

She had a role and she kinda did what was needed of her character, Its just that there was no time for her to permeate the other characters and the story. She was a waste, however you want to put it. If shibuya was so impactfull with how it affected so many characters it was becouse we had the time to understand and see them grow in all the chapters prior. Yuki just kinda appeared, yapped a whole lot HxH style and then poof, was never talked about again. Its not that we missed the point, its that Gege rushed it to finish the manga quicker becouse he was tired and wanted to end since culling games started.

@@HelloAnon eh it kinda depends on what can be called wasted or not because for example we have toji who we literally don't know much about.Like we don't know how he became the sorcerer killer or how he was abused by the clan(we got more on maki and mai being abused by the zenin than toji) or his connection to the jujutsu underworld aside from extended monologues.He also had a one off conversation with megumi and then died but he still played his role similar to yuki.Nanami is another character who didn't do much in the plot.Like his relationship with haibara is not even explored yet until the chapter with gojo's death.like i knkw more about nobara than i know about nanami(personally).Yuki is pretty much a similar case and as the video mentioned her role is far from over yet since a lot of the characters affect the plot after their death

@@thushar2006 not really tho? Toji left a deep scar in both Gojo and Geto and shaped the world by killing the star plasma vessel and forcing Tengen to evolve, even if it was unintentionally. He is a fan favourite becouse of how well his characterization was done and even if short, he left the deepest impact out of maybe any character via flashback. Nanami was Yujis mentor, we had a bunch of him in season 1, we saw him with Haibara and how he got disillusioned with jujutsu high, we saw him at his turning point when deciding to come back... His values, his dreams, his needs, how he disliked Gojo, how he appreciated Yuuji and his sorcerer colleages, etc. We know a bunch about Nanami, and his decision to selfishly curse Yuuji in his last moments impacted the mc in a way nobody has since, not even Nobara I would say. Yuki is just an expo dump. Her characterization is done before culling games and all her talk with Tengen is technical and world lore that has nothing to do with her. Call it selfless, I call it lack of character depth due to a time crunch. Im kinda tired of people talking about culling games like it was somehow executed as intended instead of the rushed mess it really is. Gege admitted there was a whole army arc he skipped becouse he wasnt feeling like drawing helicopters for gods sake.

@@HelloAnon We can't really called it a rushed mess when there were literally a bunch of arcs in colonies dedicated to side characters.Gege intentionally set aside yuji and megumi for an entire year to focus on other characters.In regards to previous arcs its pretty much like this for example in mechamaru's case he dies unceremoniously but we get his conclusion some 50 chapters later.I get wanting more from the military plot but they served their purpose.It is similar in hidden inventory where we see riko's maid get kidnapped but we skip that entire portion to gojo and geto on the beach. We see toji's impact on other characters but not his personal development similar to yuki as to how she influenced todo and choso.Ngl i always felt riko had more of an impact on gojo and geto than toji.Yuki saved everyone in shibuya,she allowed choso to escape with the prison realm,and she did give the ideas to geto for his plans and so on.Personally i think her characterization is pretty good as much as todo(who was taken out in a similar fashion to yuki)or choso. Nanami while shown to be disillusioned doesnt necessarily talk about it until the time of his death or with gojo.I would disagree with nobara because i feel that is the 'death' that impacted yuji the most after which nanami comes. Most characters in this series give monologues or expo dumps I to reflect their ideals like hakari and higuruma.The writing approaches for the culling games have always been similar to hidden inventory and shibuya.Gege has always talked about skipping the unimportant parts like he stated that the hidden inventory would have been longer but he rushed through certain parts of it to reach shibuya.(i always felt geto downfall was a little rushed).Sure culling games has flaws similar to hi and shibuya but it definitely isn't bad as people make it out to be.That being said I can get where you are coming from because cg may not be an arc for everybody

Yeah someone once said, there's too many fights, we need plot. I like the fast pace but whenever someone is defeated it just falls flat, we didn't get attached enough.

I think that's why I loved the side characters analysing the Sukuna vs Gojo fight a bit more than the fight itself

Bro yes, this is the actual problem, not the amount of deaths. If everyone who died after Nanami got more development and interactions with the cast that showcased their personalities and ideologies on a deep level, their deaths would've hit so much harder.

Takabe did prove Yuki right. He singlehandedly stopped Kenjaku but since he doesnt like killing he had to do it with someone else who he had to trust could do it. If they followed Kenjakus methods of always thinking of themselves they couldnt have taken him down and still fight Sukuna right after. Now Sukuna is basically getting ganged up on and unlike his 1v1 with Gojo he cant even know how long he has till the people he already beat up come back for round 2 while the ones currently fighting hold him off.
