Great one as usual! This is interesting, if we were to have dedicated lanes for vehicles under 20kmph (cycles, yulus, e-bikes, etc.) micromobility might actually be a great step to solve last mile connectivity issues. Riding on the road on a tiny Yulu right next to trucks and SUVs doesn't exactly inspire confidence ):)

Nice video, but a few points: 1) You folks could've thrown in a third candidate taking an Ola/Uber who likely would've finished last, and paid a much higher price 2) Riding on the footpath? Nope, wrong and unfair (and still lost) 3) Could've kept away from the cigarette at least while shooting the video...

Being completely idiotic and doing irresponsible actions like smoking on public roads and riding in walkways, a channel like Bengawalk should not be encouraging actions like this or support this. Very much disappointed on this. Intention of the video was great but the yulu guy completely wasted it. BGM was lit. loved it 😍😍😍😍

For someone who's throwing shade over everything in the city- good or bad, riding on the footpath is hypocrisy. Have some shame yaar.

Bengaluru's average traffic speed during peak hours is ~18kmph (probably lower depending on the exact road you look at).This means that the Yulu, despite its much lower top speed of 20-25kmph, is actually *much* faster than a car. I've informally done this race many times (cycle vs. car) and the result is incredibly consistent, the cycle is faster than car if there is even a slight traffic jam. Would be nice to do a v2 that includes a cycle or maybe a car as well to demonstrate that public transit and cycling/yulu can actually be faster without speeding/being dangerous to pedestrians.

Love the concept and the video overall. I can't stand that you mostly rode on the footpath, where the fuck are pedestrians supposed to walk? And riding on wrong side? Like we don't already have enough idiots riding this irresponsibly and making everyone's life harder.

Yulu on Richmond circle flyover is a bad idea. I once decided to cycle up there and ended up with a bus behind me holding up traffic till the shantinagar bus stand signal. Then I had to navigate the turn to residency road where people were merging in from mission road side. Scary af. I thought I’d fall into that building next to the flyover😂
