Per tanti anni, fin da piccola, ho ascoltato tantissimi concerti, anche dei pianisti più famosi. Yunchan è diverso da tutti Ha una potenza espressiva disarmante, stupefacente inn un ragazzo così giovane. Dopo averlo ascoltato non si riesce più a fare a meno di ascoltarlo ancora e ancora...

Without a doubt YunChan Lim is an amazing pianist and I love his playing. There is something though about how he drops the intensity of certain notes in the middle of a phrase which it doesn’t sound quite right. Here he doesn’t do it quite as much as in another recording when he was younger. I think he might be doing thinking it brings a certain sensitivity to the music but it has a bit of a superficial effect to it. Almost like a mannerism. Still, such a fantastic player and such a pleasure to listen to him.❤
