I am 34 years old and my opinion is this: Youngboy is a real man who is not afraid of anything or anyone and says what he thinks and what he feels. He is an example of the fact that one person can successfully resist an entire army of haters and enemies, and also stand alone against the entire big music industry and fight like a real warrior. Even though he is younger, I learned a lot from this guy and have a lot of respect for him. At the same time, he proves everything not with words, but with deeds - namely with his music and his great talent. This guy is a real musician and I think his music is much more interesting than Lil Durk's music. Speaking without bias, no matter how much I tried to listen to Durk’s music, I was never able to listen to more than one album to the end, I simply turned it off a few minutes after listening - it became boring and uninteresting. Over the years, I only liked a few songs, although now Lil Durk has begun to make higher quality music, I must admit. But this collaboration with J. Cole is some kind of Christmas nonsense, I can’t imagine how anyone can listen to it. On the contrary, Youngboy's music is very interesting to listen to, because he is a very talented musician and at the same time very variable, he can make music in any style and it will be done with high quality.

It just seems to me like because Durk was smart enough to spend all those years building relationships, people just made their own decisions cuz they actually like him and his hustle. That's probably the only rapper that stayed with their dream and didn't give up facing those types of ups and downs on a career. He didn't become a superstar for like a decade. Most rappers definitely gave up by then. They give up after one deal don't work out. Durk had a very long and difficult rise. Never saw anything like that. There's not one other rapper that took that long to blow up. The greats became that almost immediately and stayed that for a long time, but they did not have to go through that many struggles...so Durk really actually earned these relationships and that respect. If industry folks worked with Von & Durk and they were azzholes to everyone, nobody would be choosing them over YB. They don't care about none of that. They probably just vibe with them. We've seen how YB treats people that just try to do interviews with him. He's just a rude ass dude for the most part, except thee few times he shows his heart...plus he comes with a whole lot of baby mama drama and street drama that follows him nonstop, plus his drug habits, so imagine tryna be in the studio with him and get him focused? He has those dirty druggie wyt boys to help him with songs cuz they're really the only ones that can stand that energy for that long. His street dudes even clearly have to be high to be around him. His mom shows the world exactly why he's like that, and that's just sad cuz he can be an even bigger artist and better father/man if he was able to grow up and expand himself. People gotta stop feeling sorry for YB and call it what it is. Durk is clearly a generally more likeable human, so don't get mad at him when people are locked in with him.
