This is the Realer Than Most Podcast Show for a reason. Not everyone can come and sit on this sofa. For Season 5 Episode 11 (Body Count) we decided to answer to some of your requests in the comments by inviting the Legendary Yung Meth to tell his story and receive his well deserved flowers for being a real pioneer in this UK ‘Road Rap’ ting. Fresh out of jail (yet again), it was a pleasure to have him do his first ever interview with the RTM team. If you were around back then and you knew anything about UK rap, Yung Meth (formerly known as Youngsta) would have been in your top 10 at least with his debut project ‘Crystal Meth’ doing numbers in the streets, thanks to Ruthless Records. Meth talked us through his life story so far including school days, constantly being in and out of prison, getting into music, etc. He talked on his beef with SMS, what led him to joining ‘Cream Cartel’ and more importantly, what led him to leave the collective. We then put him through his ‘RTM Fire Round’ before getting into some ‘Current Affairs’ including Gary Lineker being suspended from presenting ‘Match Of The Day’, Skepta and Big Smoke Corporation putting on a heavy event to celebrate all the lovely ladies and other recent news. After a break for some ‘RTM Banter’, the main subject was ‘Body Count’. Does it matter? Why is it alright and praised for men to have a high body count but yet girls with high body counts get slut shamed? Is that fair? The ‘RTM Dilemma’ and ‘Book Suggestion’ closed the show as usual.
