This song makes me think about missed chances. Like he meets the girl and falls for her, but he's afraid to say anything, and they grow apart and he feels like he's missed his chance. ... It reminds me of an old crush. He was super sweet and smart and amazing. We shared a few classes, and we grew to be pretty close. It got to a point where I wanted to tell him how I felt and I was pretty sure he felt the same, but before I got up the courage to do it, he ended up moving. I never did tell him how I felt and we eventually lost touch. I still wonder how things could have played out if I had just come out with it when I had the chance.
