Dude... I don't know who's durian tree that they found but rip to the owner.. Cz they hv been pluck the fruit n not wait for the durian to fall. My granny said if the durian been pluck from the tree, new durian will not grow after that.. And all other durian in that tree will not fall when they ripe.. The pd of the show really need to have background knowledge in all this thing.

I really don't understand when people said durian taste bad. As a Malaysian I really love it, I can even eat 5 whole durian without stopping. Sometimes I see that people said it taste like garlic, I think bcause they ate the one that's too ripe. We don't share the same tongue so for me durian is really good.

To everyone who is wondering/ doesn’t know, this is a survival show in the jungle where they have to find and cook food for themselves. This isn’t somebody’s durian farm, it is a wild tree. There’s a possibility that there were no durians on the ground at the time when they found the tree but it would’ve been sad for them to leave it be and risk having no food/ not being able to find it again. Although I wish they were more careful around the trees because of danger. Thanks for reading my book lol

Actually, i don't want to argue with you, Indonesian and Malaysian. Just want u to understand that we just have different tastes of durians. 1.Fallen durians/fully riped durians have too strong smell,too soft, too sweet and some bitter taste. Most Thai don't like it. We like durian when it has mild smells,soft, sweet and non bitter taste. 2. As you know, we plant durians in eastern and southern of Thailand but have to ship them all over Thailand and other countries. It takes times, so if you let durians fall/fully riped, it has too shot shelf life. 3. Sometimes we buy it and send it to the other as a gift or buy it and eat it next few days. if u buy it as fully riped , next few day it becomes rotten. 4. If you let durian fall, most of them broke since durian trees are too high. 5. We have our own way to buy durian. You can tell the merchant that u want to eat it right now , next few days, next week and the merchant will pick the one u want. That's why we picked it at 80-90% riped, not let them fall. Ps. By "80-90% riped" i mean durian that can become fully riped if you drop it in the room for 2-3 days that is 28-32 °c or normal temperature room in Thailand. Ps.2 normally, we don't use hormone or chemical to stimulate durian to become ripped. Just the pure experience of the workers, like how many days since the flowers ovulate, how the whether become, hot, cold, raining.

The problem is we dont take the durian from the tree because all of don't ripe the better is wait until it fell to the ground. Then we will get the ripe one

Sometimes i really think the PD and members should do their own research before visiting a country to know what they could find in the country, how to eat the fruits there and what they are not allowed to eat or catch (referring to the thailand case). It is a concern because it happened so many times and they are just embarrassing themselves with the lack of knowledge especially when there isnt a local jungle/forest tour guide with them.

To anyone watch this and not familiar with Durian, Durian is that kind of food that heavily polarised. The one who likes it, LOVES it. The one who dislike it, HATES it. There is no in-between. Some durians radiates strong smell, but there are few which have nice smell. (From someone who happens to hate it)
