She slayed again with her Vocal, and she's not even a main vocal in the group but indeed she's a vocal line to the group. Yuqi is actually from mainland China. She is from Beijing, the capital of China. Pls react to more gidle songs! They are amazing. Most of their songs are self-composed.

Yuqi is from a top school in Beijing. I think she's just really talented in languages (among thousands of other talents). She's also constantly praised by native Korean people on how fluent her Korean is.

Yeah her voice does blend very well in harmonies. She adds in that bass and "spaciousness" - usually very lacking in Kpop girlgroups which are filled with high bright tones. Yuqi makes Gidle's songs sound so full and easy on the ears. I don't know about others, but my ears often get tired after listening girlgroups' songs for a period of time. That doesn't apply to Gidle songs. Gidle is filled with spacious, layered voices that are very soothing and addicting. Yuqi's deep warm voice + Miyeon's medium solid voice + Minnie's high airy voice = Main Vocal Trio Made in Heaven. p.s. I don't care about official group positions. Bonnie & Clyde proves that Yuqi's beyond main vocal material. She's got nothing left to prove to anyone.

Dreamcatcher, LOONA, and ITZY are others who don't necessarily go for the normal kpop gg vocals. If you haven't checked them out, they're definitely worth a listen!

She’s from Beijing, mainland China. Her name is pronounced like “Ooogi” in korean and in chinese its pronounced like “Youchi”

gidle's name in korean basically means 6 different unique individuals in a group and it really is like that, all 5 vocalists have different tones, vibes etc. and don't even get me started on the rapper

yes.... the pronounciation of her name in Korea, we call 'Woo-gi' (you're correct), and in China, I understand, is Yuqi. I love her and another Chinese girl of Dreamcatcher Han-dong. Thank you...

And one interesting thing is, Yuki of Purple kiss is Japanese... We (SK people) also call her as Yuki. China and many Korean people have Hanja (Kanji or Chinese character) name. So same letters, the pronounciation is a little different from each other. But Japanese case, they also have Kanji names but the reading way of the name is totally different. They have their own way of reading.

Anyway I'm curious about your(American's) feeling when you first heard the title 'Bonnie and Cylde' . I had translated some English novels to Korean. So I heard the names as with criminal and murder case. So, I don't like the title of Yuki song. Yuki is very pure and pretty and innocent, but the song title is the names of murderers. I can remind Jack the Ripper case same as to Bonnie and Clyde. What do you thing of that?
