I was only 8 years old when Cat Stevens became my very first crush! There was something so extraordinarily gentle about him, and he was extremely handsome to my eyes.... I'm now 56 and he still has it! 🎶💜🎶

One of the most unique song writers of the 20th century, Cat Stevens, ..with a voice that simply has no equal. Quite amazing to see this masterpiece of a person after so many years. It would also be a good thing to take particular notice of the genuine humility of this man, as he once again expresses the music that was always in him during his absence.

Cat Stevens has always been a musical beacon of light for me. This song and Morning Has Broken have such powerful meanings, and I am thankful to have been exposed to such a superb musician, playing and singing his songs, with exquisite lyrics.

Cat Stevens even as Yussuf is greater as years passes, but I missed the backvocal lady angel voice as it is in the original version of this song, I guess she was Suzanne Lynch's, who gave such an enchantment to this beautiful song..!

It matters not whether he is Muslim or Christian, he just disappeared for two or three decades to do a bit of soul searching,. Which I think a lot of us "so called " Christians need to do as well. If he is the example of a genuine Muslim,...then I think it is time for some of us Christians to learn a bit of a lesson here....There can be no doubt that the music and songs he wrote would have to be a great gift of God, Allah..or whatever we prefer to call the Creator.

If people didn't care about religion and other people's belief's, we'd all be together eventually. That's just my own opinion though. I just don't get the whole divide between differences of what we all believe in. It splits us.

Hi stvynix, yes I agree with what you say, But we don't really know whether Cat Stevens mild and good nature has really anything to do with Muslim or Christianity in the first place. In my honest opinion, I think a person is really born with those attributes or whatever the right word is. It is true that we are divided by our different understandings of God or Allah, but that is probably cultural based. It is all kind of hard to understand. But having said that, there can be no doubt the he is a unique person...regards
