I know that Japanese people have a hard time speaking English, but you do it super well, you don't have to be embarrassed or shy about your pronunciation in any way, and as usual, your joy infects everyone, far beyond the screen, it makes you want to give you a big hug. Hope you will continue your KZfaq channel and hearty congratulations to all your followers, they are well deserved

This is so adorable. Half the carrot stays here and the other, - goes home :). And moving forward, when I cook rice, it won't be done or cooked, it will have grown up :) . Yuka-Chan, please don't ever change. This is so wholesome and sweet. Languages are never easy to learn but doing things like this, forcing yourself to speak out loud in another language, even if only to a camera is excellent practice. What are you cooking next in English for us ?

I have such respect for anyone trying to learn English as a second language, it has so many confusing little nuances especially when it comes to spelling and pronunciation so I think you're doing fantastic. I actually just started to learn Japanese, I have always admired Japan and the culture, especially the old folklore and stories I've read, plus Japan's history is so rich, I especially loved learning about Samurai history. Plus they are the video game capital of the world and the rest of the world owes so much to Japan for inventing so many amazing products. The main reason I want to learn to speak Japanese is because I've always wanted to either play through a great story driven RPG in the original Japanese language, or watch a full Anime series without it being subtitled or dubbed. Keep up the great work and keep practicing your English, I'm sure you're getting better and better every day, also your curry looks delicious!

I always find it instructive when people learn a new language as the grammar mistakes they make are often directly translated from their own language, so you get an insight into that. Example, when she put in a new ingredient, she mentioned a new member. I wonder if that is what they would say in Japanese.

going on 15 years now at age 30, is that when i first started, yes but it's not a language you learn overnight, it takes time. the hard part is memorizing and familiarizing yourself with the Kanji and hiragana characters, you also learn some Romanji, because that's how you learn different words, but the writing in Japan is never written that way. it's always with the characters. believe it or not even the Japanese struggle with Kanji, that's why they start learning at a very young age. but even hiragana can be difficult to understand, if you don't know how a character is read. i had a friend ask me one time, how you suppose to understand all that. so my explanation even to him confused him, but once i went over this is how this character is understood, he understood better, but it was only after i showed him.
