I am so impressed with Yu Tu and his perseverance in getting Jingjing back. Once this guy made up his mind that he wants her to be his girlfriend, he did not waste any more time. He went all out. He did not care if he everybody knew how he felt.. He was willing to show his feelings in front of everybody. I guess by kissing Jingjing in front of all their classmates in the KTV, he ensured that she goes out with him and they have the alone time they need to talk.

I still can’t get over this drama. When she told him to go find a seat, he looked down and thought what can I do to make her leave with me? Then you see when the answer comes to him and he looks up at her and leans in and kisses her. Really enjoyed this drama that I’ve watched it over and over again 💜🥰💜

Well, she more or less told him already that she wants to be with him during that tense conversation they had at the gas stop, but that she wasn't happy that he had rejected her twice already and it took him some time to go after her. For her, it felt like she is the one who's more into him than him with her. So for Yu Tu, it was just a matter of getting her alone to talk things through and convince her that he indeed wants her to be with him. And what a way to show that, huh!! He basically compromised her by kissing her in front of all their classmates at the KTV so it would have been awkward if she continued sitting there after that 😄

The friend knew she loved him and that he loved her. When they were talking she told Jingjing to not to keep him waiting. She set up the reunion and had someone to call him and let him know she was going to be there. She just wasn't ready to let him off so easy which made it more exciting. Just wish that the ex had been there to see who he chose. He never wanted her to begin with.

Not only that. Peipei is a true friend because she basically bribed all her other classmates in the KTV not to post whatever happened between Jingjing and Yu Tu as well as Jingjing singing onto Weibo and their Wechat Moments by giving each of them a New Year red packet via the Wechat group she said she'll create and by paying for the expenses related to their KTV gathering. That just shows that even though among her high school classmates she is quite a gossip, she is very protective of Jingjing's privacy given that Jingjing is a famous celebrity. Of course later on Yu Tu revealed to Jingjing what Peipei had done for her and that he had paid Peipei back since he was the one who had compromised Jingjing by kissing her in front of everybody.

One of the many reasons I love this show is that their ages match IRL and in the drama (istg all these age gap casting/characters these days be pissing me off), their faces match and acting match. Call me superficial but I meed those checked xD. Too many shows get spoiled because of casting sometimes.

I absolutely love when he asked if she was saying yes. She was smiling under the scarve but she wasn't going to let him know and get out of her being mad at him so she started with more he knew because of that smile on his face but I love how these two interact together.

Just the fact that he publicly kisses her & claims her as his own, forgives him all the mistakes he made before, the apology adds to his sincerety for forgivness, now though the past was painful & then repeated 10 years later was really too much but it was more his social insecurity than lack of feeling apparently he had been fighting them all along unfortunately, it took time & it was worth all the angst, Alhumdolillah no wonder Allah swt says never give up hope, 🤲🏻😇❤️🌟🇵🇰🇨🇳

Seriously he kissed her to make her understand that they needed time alone but I mean the look in his eyes while he said let’s go the first time would have made me get up and go lol girl was just too stunned I guess she couldn’t react lol. Kiss got her going though maybe she’s got the right idea. She got him looking at her like that and she got a kiss to boot.

According to novel, the reason he kisses her is to force her to leave with him.. With a kiss in front of all classmates (which is not Chinese tradition), Jing Jing would be very embarrassed, she would not want to stay but leave soon.

YU TU then thought (this won't do...if I sit, I can't have her to myself alone. I've been waiting for this moment)....I have to kiss her and get her out of here fast. Actually the translation is wrong. The translation should not be "I forgive you" but rather "I won't argue with you" which basically means she is not denying that she did come to the KTV because of him. So yes, she is not angry with him anymore. But the translation is not exactly correct.
