After reading the Citrus manga Vol. 10 Chapter 41 I can link it to the conversation in the song, Yuzu is like Zac and Mei is like Zendaya in the song. Mei's hands are tied because of her responsibility as the successor of her family and Yuzu is the one that is saying that their love is possible.
