We have been blessed to live in a time when we can witness this man's skating. He is in my eyes, the best figure skater to every exist- no he is not perfect but his sheer performance value is breath taking. In a time where everyone is focused on the jumps, not only can he perform them, but he goes above and beyond and reminds us that the true core of this sport is ART.

Lauren Kho, why not? Helsinki is 2000 km from my house, it is not so far. But there I met a woman who flew from Hawaii! Yuzu worth it! I recommend visiting his workout, you can see him for 30 minutes!

The recent JSF looks desperate. Unfortunately, Uno and Kagiyama are less than half the ability and charm of Hanyu. Both of them are not good at speaking. 😑and😑 So they seem to have a lot of trouble trying to sell them as the next stars. Maybe, "Oh, I wish I had sat down in the days of superstar Hanyu. We were an easy business! "😫

@@Shirleyy1 of course I don't mind- I don't own the rights Yuzuru's footage lol. I do plan to make an updated version but I'll wait until this season or the next one end because I'm sure he can break at least one more WR- he hasn't even broken 300 yet. I don't really care about getting views or recognition, I initially made that video just to watch it on my own because it made me so happy to see those clips one after the other.

Rostelecom Cup in 2018, all his last minute layout changes during competition, and now that 4A!!! And do I even want to talk about 2019 GPF practice??? 😭😱 But, again, I do agree with you, at the same time. Watching Yuzuru-kun never fails to make me smile, no matter what kind of day I go through, and he's such an inspiration. Yuzuru is so amazing! He is unique in his skating and his personality! But I think what puts him on top is the calm confidence he has in himself! He loves this sport, he loves to skate and most of all he has fun doing it! Having fun and throughly enjoying what he does puts him on top to stay! Love watching that young man! PHENOMENAL!! There's one thing that makes me feel comfortable is his SP WR set at COR2018 had been unbeatable for 1 more year despite a certain skater who is ISU's favorite had clean SP, and Yuzu broke his WR himself at 4CC last week. If he has a clean skate, he'll win, he didn't lie about this.

I have a feeling retirement for him will not mean quiet and reclusive. He's a performer. He loves to shine. And shine he does. He will either skate pro or find another outlet for his "audience". Brian skated pro in ice shows for something like 17 years before he started coaching and said it was the best time of his life. When you see Yuzu at shows he looks so happy. And if he skates in show tours there's a greater chance for more people to see him. A North American tour would be amazing. And we still will have all these wonderful videos to watch.

nightwishnemo oh please, there is literally Daisuke Takahashi who retired 4 years ago making a comeback. I guess that makes him a fossil 🤔

YES! Very true. Especially when you compare the GOE of Hope and Legacy and Let's go Crazy(especially on the jumps) to the other programs, Yuzu is underscored. It's either he's underscored or the others were overscored. Yuzu deserves more than this bullshit from the judges. Yuzu deserves his true scores.

I know!!! Worlds 2017 was scandalous. How could they *not* give him 100 in PCS??? It was literally perfect!!! And none of those beautiful jumps received +3 across the board! 😠 Sorry if I sound angry, I'm just really frustrated that they don't give him what he's worked so hard for. 😱😨😭
