Enjoyed watching your video showing how to enclose the turquoise cab. The cab reminds me of Stellarite which was available in the mid-1970's, but haven't seen it available in many years. I'm trying to learn techniques in wirewrapping which probably wasn't being done when I was learning jewelry-making in the latter 1960's, so made different kinds/styles of jewelry using cabs, sterling silver sheet/wire & solder. Now want to experiment using different wire- wrapping techniques on cabs I cut-polished many years ago. Your wirewrap sets the stone beautifully! Thank you for demonstrating your technique.

I know this video was posted 4.5 years ago, just wanted to thank you for the links you posted. I've been researching where to get the most bang for the buck on tools and supplies. I'm new to jewelry making and just want to make things for my daughter and myself. It's overwhelming deciding which company to trust and I feel your links have helped me decide. Again thank you and I hope this message finds you and your loved ones in the best of health.

Heya, Molly! That struggle is real! There is a setting on youtube where you can slow down the playback speed; I use it quite a bit when I am watching tutorials for the same reason! If you have difficulty finding the gear icon and the playback speed setting, googling how to adjust the playback speed of a youtube video should be helpful. Good luck and Happy Crafting!

I am absolutely memorized by your work...sooooo beautiful. I just came back from England where I had bought some crystals and semi precious stones as gifts. While I was there I was knocked down by a dog and broke my ankle. I came back to the USA with a cast on and I'm now house bound. I stumbled upon this tutorial of yours and I'm so excited. I've never done wire wrapping but I love the look and now I have all these stones to work with and can hopefully make some beautiful gifts. Thank you so much for making my being stuck inside a more exciting prospect!!! Everything happens for a reason...so glad I found you!💖 Thank you, Patty

Hi Yvonne, I really love that you don't have everything just centered in this piece. For beginners it's very tough to get everything synchronized perfectly. So it's nice to know it will look just as good free-formed. Thank you for the magic you create. Love the Serene music, I really love your voice and how you conduct yourself in your videos. You keep it light and with your unique humour you make it fun. It's all a learning experience! Thank you so much!

I just wanted to say that I love watching you work. I watched a lot of KZfaq videos on jewelry making and the rigidity of the measurements made me think maybe this wasn’t for me, then I watched you and your easy going “oh well that doesn’t work, let’s try something else”, attitude was so freeing. I’m not so afraid to just try things and if I don’t like how it’s going for the project I’m doing, I just keep going with a different way to get there. Thank you.

I missed this one somehow! I've been on the struggle bus with half round. It's driving me nuts. I am loving the square from Parawire, and I'm sure it's just that I ordered 21G half round instead of a sturdier 18G. Wish I had found this first! haha. I can't seem to keep it tucked as I work, and I have a nice pair of fine tipped xuron pliers. I really want to master (okay, at least sorta get good at) copper before attempting to order any argentium or fine silver. Thanks for the tutorial. I bought a couple spools of half round & square just for practice really in antique copper.
