YZ450F Supermoto Build: Suspension Linkage + Swingarm Rebuilds Ep. 5

Күн бұрынBack to work on the Yamahog! All the suspension bearings on this YZ450F were bad and needed to be replaced so I ordered up some rebuild kits (Swingarm kit & Linkage kit) from Pivot Works. These kits are very affordable but I can tell you they aren't oem quality but they will work and I have to stick to my budget.

Theres plenty room between the bearings in the swingarm to fit greasenipples if you want to. Can highly recommend this procedure.

watched all your videos love them all I've recently surgery on my acl in may and on my quad in December and haven't been able to ride for 7 months now I know how you feel not being able to ride hope you get better soon. also have a 04 crf450 that you inspired me to build into a supermoto

Yes the old bearings were pressed out using a hydraulic press and then I coated the link and installed new bearings

more often then not, using a vise or hydraulic press for barrings causes more damage.
