I'm the guy on the left. I was so nervous, because the day before my voice broke, that I dropped my score. The first cellist stopped playing and picked it up for me. It's a shame that the only record of me on youtube is my weakest performance (due to the break of my voice) :(

The alto voice really is deep and rich in tone, lovely to listen to. A real shame that there aren’t more recordings of Michael Hayden’s Choral music, and I don’t understand why such widespread continental use of Boys with alto voices, English choirs don’t follow suit. It seems from videos, that as the boys voices deepen naturally, they can remain in choirs longer. A real waste of talent.

Hallo! Ich bin der Altsolist (dem die Noten weggeflogen sind) Für die Geschichte mit den Noten muss ich ein wenig ausholen: Prompt auf den Tag genau zum Konzert, bekam ich meine Stimmbruch. So viel es mir schon schwer überhaupt einen Ton zu singen: deswegen war ich sichtlich nervös. So nervös, dass die Cellistin mir die Noten sogar aufheben musste. Schade, dass Sie nicht einen Moment erwischt haben, in dem ich WIRKLICH singen konnte. Ah, trotzdem vielen Dank für das Kompliment

Michael Haydn, Joseph's younger brother, was the Kappellmeister in Salzburg, and thus was Wolfgang and Leopold Mozart's boss. Leopold was the Vice-Kapellmeister. Boys choirs like Michael because he regularly wrote pieces like this that feature just boys voices.

Die Stimme des Altisten, der hier zeitweilig mit seinen Notenblättern (mit seiner Nervosität ?) "kämpft" gefällt mir ganz besonders gut...:) Der erste Sopran hat offensichtlich einen großen Stimmumfang, ist nach Meinung eines Fachmannes, der ich keineswegs bin, allerdings eher ein Mezzosopran (?).

At 3.06 the music of Giles Bilford dropped on the floor, than he has to ask at Maximilian Sabev at what page he has to be to sing and after that you can hear his very beautiful alt-voice

Man kann KZfaq Videos sehr gut herunterladen auf die eigene Festplatte, und zwar z.B. mit dem Downloadhelper von Firefox. Den link zu der software (addon) findet man z.B. auf dem channel von Kruzifan, und zwar in den Informationen zu seinem Video "Tag der offenen Tür"...:)

Liebe für den Chor Verantwortliche, Ihr habt am 22.10. in Isny ein tolles Konzert gegeben, dabei auch einige neue Solisten vorgestellt ! Leider war Eure Veranstaltung nicht besonders gut besucht. Für mich ist das nur eine Frage der Werbung ! In soweit waren die Wiltener Sängerknaben aus Innsbruck am 23.10. in Wangen erheblich erfolgreicher. Dort stellte sich heraus, dass, soweit ich es durch Befragung des Publikums feststellen konnte, niemand von der Veranstaltung in Isny gehört hatte.

Vielen Dank Schade nur, dass ich am Tag zuvor meinen Stimmbruch bekam. Daher war ich in der Regel um einiges besser..wenn Dir dies schon gefiel, dann muss ich draus schliessen, dass ich ein sehr guter Alt-Solist bin (so bescheiden wie ich bin :))

Nein, ich bin "nur" Fan - übrigens aller guten Knabenchöre. Dazu gehören - für mich - in Deutschland die Augsburger, die Hannoveraner, die Kruzianer, die Regensburger, die Thomaner und die Tölzer z.B.....:) Wenn ich noch einen ausländischen Chor aufzählen darf, ist es die "Escolania de Montserrat" !

@MelvinEU Hello my friend Melvin there in LA, this so wonderful choir is not the Vienna Boys´Choir but the Zürcher Knabenchor from Zurich/Switzerland. ...:) They have almost the same uniform only ! Perhaps I shall see you in Munich next weekend (parents´ day of the Toelzers) ?

Sorry für die späte Antwort: Der Solist ganz links ist Jonah Schenkel. Es sieht so aus, dass er inzwischen eine Karriere als Sänger anstrebt. Die beiden anderen Solisten gehören nicht zu den Ünesen-Brüdern.

Peter Jelosits now is Tenor at the Vienna Opera-House - see the video with "Anna Bolena" at the channel of MrChannel14. Zurcher have some very fine singer and lousy acoustics.
