I lost my grandma some years back me and my mom each held one of her hands as she took her last breaths and at that time in my life I was drunk/blowed and off pills all day and when I left the hospital after watching my grandma die I went to the store and got a couple 40’s I cracked one then I thought the last thing I wanna do is forget ANY part of my grandma even something as sad as that so I forced myself to deal with it sober I didn’t stay 100% sober after that but it taught me something important and now it’s been 3 years since I’ve done anything but smoke weed including drink before my grandma died I had to be so fucked up id pass out I couldn’t just go to sleep my ptsd was fuckin with me. Anyway keep your head up sometimes tough shut makes us stronger I’m sure you’ve learned that already
