Composure is honestly his best attribute. The kid seems so calm on the ball all the time. Which is the opposite for 90% of most young players who so desperately want to make an impact that they're kind of chaotic. Mainoo just seems calm as can be every time he has the ball.

So Mainoo being our best midfielder isn't an indictment to how poor uniteds midfield is, rather see it as a standard setter because Mainoo improves the players around him with his charismatic style of play.
